The Grand Canyon Hotel is a very neat building, and we loved the European, hostel type feel -- but if that's not what you're in the market for, this hotel probably isn't going to work for you. The staff was very friendly, and it appeared neat and clean throughout. Lots of different types of rooms, some quite nice, but ours...

Arrived late into Phoenix so we decided to drive only to Williams before driving the extra hour to the Grand Canyon the next morning. Williams is the town you go to if you decide to take the train back and forth from the Canyon too. Hotel is family run. Upon our arrival we were on our own but an adorable...

This is a renovated 19th century hotel. The rooms are all very different and what you might expect of a hotel of the period. This hotel is full of character not like any of the normal hotels you will find provided that you accept that facilities from that period are rather basic and you will enjoy.

The first thing to be said is that there is no air conditioning but it's not a real problem. Definitely check out Bearizona up the road. Canyon is about an hour. The town has plenty of food and such. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very helpful and knowledgeable, had no problem answering any questions we had.

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and our wedding anniversary on our way to The Grand Canyon. Immediately upon entering, we we greeted with birthday and anniversary wishes. We were given a tour of the common areas and shown our room. We had chosen the "Boudoir" They had decorated our door with birthday greetings! The room was super...

After a very friendly welcome we got the chance to check out several rooms and pick the one we liked best. It took forever, just because the rooms were all cute in their own way and we could not make up our mind. We finally decided for room 12 and had a great stay! The room was rather small, but...

This is an interesting place to stay, as all of the rooms are decorated in a different theme. Some that I remember are the Boudour and WWI rooms. You can look around at the unoccupied rooms as the doors are left open. We picked the Netherlands room to stay in, which had a nice blue and white color with porcelane...

Winding and charming! I'm very happy that we stayed in Williams and not in Grand Canyon Village on our way to Grand Canyon. Williams is a pittoresque and beautiful little town with, for a town of that size, an impressive number of good restaurants, diners and cocktailbars. The hotel is Arizona's oldest and the inn-keepers really managed to maintain it's...

After cities and parksand chain hotels, arrival in Williams was just great. What a genuine little American town. Ok it's a bit cheesy cos of Route 66 but the old buildings the character bars (one where they used to have proper shoot outs in the good old days!!). Don't shy away from the dark little bars, they're great. Hotel as...

This Hotel was a PERFECT place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon. Each room is just like walking back in time, I am a history buff and this was perfect for me. The rooms are extra clean and the price is very reasonable. The owners Amy and Oscar were very nice and knew the history of the hotel and...
