We spent the night here and it was interesting to say the least. Now it is the oldest hotel in AZ. and we stayed on the first floor because we had our grand kids with us the rooms are bigger but dated. The staff was friendly and accommodating we had minor ghost activity but we get that at all the...

This apparently is the oldest active hotel in AZ, and it is very charming. The staff is excellent! BUT, my friend and I were in room 9, which is probably the least desirable room in the entire hotel. We looked at some of the other rooms that were lovely, unique, and interesting. Room 9 needs new mattresses and a little...

It was like stepping back in time. Really a fun place and the staff was so accommodating. It was different to have to go to the hall to use the restroom, but we made the best of it. Some rooms do have their own restrooms. This hotel was a little pricey, but everything in town was.

We stayed at the hotel to be close to the grand canyon. It was quite affordable, but was maybe not what we expected. It's dorm style with two bathrooms on the floor shared by all of the rooms. The rooms were quaint and decorated for the vintage aesthetic the hotel is going after. We didn't partake in too many of...

We booked a package trip to the Grand Canyon through Xterra (Grand Canyon Railroad) and we're thrilled with the experience and value. Beautiful artwork and huge fireplace in the lobby. Helpful, responsible site staff, attention to detail (check out the accents on the mirrors and headboards) at this historic hotel. Go with first class or above on the train ride...

Nice and unique place though a bit expensive for a room with a bathroom. Each room is individually decorated adn you can still enjoy photos and some original floor work from the 1891 hotel. Purchase wine and beer in the lobby. Has a nice little coffee sitting are. No tv in the rooms and our room was very small considering...

This is the oldest hotel in Arizona and it has kept much of its character. We had a loft room for family of four (2 adults + 2 teens) for one night so the floor space was good but the ceiling height of the loft was pretty low for both kids - neither could stand up straight - we also...

This is a return trip to Williams, Arizona, and our second time staying at the Grand Canyon Hotel. The oldest Hotel in Arizona, Built in 1891 and set on historic Route 66, it is the coolest place in town. Not because of A/C but knowing that you are sleeping in a room where actual Cowboys from the 19th century occupied....

Stopped of at this quirky hotel on our road and what a delight. Real American town of williams on the Route 66. Amy and Oscar are the perfect hosts and have done a fine job. No other place to stay when on williams.

I planned a high school graduation trip for my niece to the Grand Canyon. Of course we wanted to stay as close as we could to the Grand Canyon. In doing a search on the internet I ran across the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams, Arizona. It's the oldest hotel in Arizona and I just knew we had to stay...
