In planning our stop in Williams, I was looking for someplace interesting, reasonably priced, and close to the railroad depot. Only the Red Garter fit the bill. It's a haunted former 1890s bordello (The property also includes the remnants/sites of a Chinese restaurant, opium den and pool parlor, not to meention a two-story outhouse). It edges the railway hoteel by...

My family had a lot of fun staying at the Inn, learning the history, hearing the stories, and following up the things we heard on "If Walls Could Talk" and "Ghost Hunters". Everything in the bakery was so good, it was hard to decide what to have for breakfast! This was a great stopping point on our drive from Las...

We weren't able to stay because we had to get moving to get back home, but we stopped in because we are interested in the ghostly stories that go along with the place. The lady working was very nice and explained some of the activity from the ghost. She told us the female ghost was very protective. She will open...

Spent 2 days here while traveling across country with my daughter..this inn was one of my favorite spots! What was a bordello and saloon in the 1800's has been lovingly and impeccably restored by its owner, John Holst, to a 5 room B and B over John's bakery. Can it get any better?!? Oh, but it does! We stayed in...

The fun and charming Red Garter Inn will always be in our memory because of the beautifully done restoration, the stories of the building's past, the stories of the "friendly ghost" that visits occasionally, the great fresh made pastries every morning and visiting with John Holst, the owner. This gentleman spent 30 years of his life restoring this building to...

My husband and I along with our best friends traveled from the Albuquerque, NM (& upstate NY) area to visit the Grand Canyon - a first for one of us. We discovered the Red Garter Inn on-line and gave it a try, for a two night stay. It is fun and quirky, comfortable with yummy breakfasts, and graciously hosted by...

We stayed one night for our trip to Grand Canyon and it was great! We stayed here three years ago as well and we liked it so much we returned. The staff are very friendly and they have great suggestions what to do in the area. The owner John makes you feel at home. The breakfast is the best with...

This B&B is on the historic "saloon row" and is very well maintained. The owner has put a lot of TLC into the place and it absolutely shows. It is loaded with history and charm, and the owner and staff are very excited to give tours and tell ghost stories. It is perfect for coffee and a bakery-style breakfast in...

Stayed for 2 nights to see the Grand Canyon. Host informative and knowledgeable about the area and the hotel. Breakfast plentiful... but could do with some savoury options... perhaps cheese and ham to go with croissants? Also liked the freedom to grab a tea or coffee at any time. Rooms adequate size but I don't think we had any control...

I wanted to take my mom and good friend on a girls Grand Canyon train ride/overnight trip but wasn't thrilled with the standard hotel option with the train tickets. I did a little research and found the Red Garter Inn. We were all thrilled with our stay here. It is an adorable place, very well maintained, loaded with history and...
