My wife and myselve spent 3 nights in building 4 (old part of the hotel). The room was a bit noisy due to the many air conditioning units, to the toilet fans and the parking lot nearby. The bed was too soft (we were sliding towards each other ... nice except when you want to sleep). The safety chain at...

The staff did not seem to be friendly. The hotel is close to the national park (5 min by car), restaurants and small markets. Clean room with basic amenities. Worth the price. Tip: definitely worth waking up at dawn to sunrise. Best Sunset -> Yaki Point Best Sunrise -> Hopi Point.

We stayed here two night for a visit of the Grand Canyon. While we checked in, the man that was helping us wasn't really helpful, he didn't explain a thing and was very uninterested. So was the girl that checked us out. On the other hand, there is staff that is very helpful, a young man help us clearing up...

We stayed here for 1 night in September while taking a trip to the Grand Canyon while visiting Las Vegas. I booked the room in advance asking for the Hotel section requesting a top floor with refrigerator. We choose Red Feather due to the fact that the price was the lowest of the several hotels in the area. Checkin was...

Not a huge amount to write about the Red Feather Lodge, it does what is says on the tin ie. it's a lodge in Tusayan and it's the closest place to stay outside of the Grand Canyon! We were not disappointed at all, check in was really fast and efficient, rooms were of decent standard - we had two rooms...

It appears that there are two parts to this hotel complex, an older motel section and a newer hotel section. We were in the motel part. We did not like the stay very much. It was not possible to park close to the room which was inconvenient. The wifi internet did not work due to a very weak signal. The...

We stayed here for two nights ( 9/11-12, 2014). The Red Feather Lodge is located in Tusayan, AZ, just minutes from the south entrance to The South Rim of Grand Canyon National park. The location and price make this a good bet. The hotel/motel is standard motel fare; the rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. The staff is helpful and...

Great staff, great location. Showed up late to find they didn't have the less expensive room we booked, so they upgraded us to the main building at no-charge. Staff is very gracious and helpful, great value for the location. I don't understand the poor reviews, it's not a Hyatt and I was not expecting one. Yes, you pay a bit...

We stayed in the hotel side of the Red Feather. This is a good place to stay reasonably priced rooms had two beds and were quite comfortable. The staff were ok. The rooms were clean and I loved how they did the towels. The hotel is only 7minutes from the Grand Canyon national park entrance and close to restaurants.
