Three stars at best. Convenient to entrance of the Grand Canyon. Recommend you book a hotel inside Grand Canyon 8-12 months in advance (El Tovar). Positives of Red Feather: coffee, convenience, clean bedding/room, warm hot tub, friendly staff, nice parking lot. Negatives: hotel is dated, cold tiny pool, tasteless apples for breakfast, no tea or hot chocolate, small room, dirty...

Red Feather Lodge has been a very good choice for us. Large, clean, nice room with everything you need (place to seat, write, plugs). It is really close to Grand Canyon activities (no need to stay inside the Park, indeed). Staying in Tusayan is very nice, since you can walk to good restaurants, find general stores and more. Two small...

The Red Feather Lodge has two options, the old motel that's in rough shape on the outside but has been updated on the inside and the Lodge. We looked at the original motel and decided to pay the extra and stay in the more modern hotel. The room we stayed in was clean, modern and pretty nice. The bathtub needed...

If you are visiting the Grand Canyon, and need a place to fall asleep, this is the place. Decent value for money, and a place to be in at night. We were a family of four at Grand Canyon, and this met our needs. They give you a 10% discount for a Mexican restaurant, it's a horrible place. Mexican is...

If are visiting the Grand Canyon and traveling on a budget, this is a good option. Convenient and clean. But whatever u do, don't eat in the restaurant next door,Plaza Bonita, I think it's part of the hotel. Worse Mexican food ever

The original Red Feather Lodge can be seen in photos, but not much of that is still around. It's a comfortable typical highway hotel. The staff were great to recommend options for dining in town. There were free postcards which I really appreciated!

I booked their motel rooms and they upgraded me to a nice hotel room on the 3rd floor. i stayed there for two nights, and I'm glad I chose this hotel cause it was very close to the grand canyon. A 10 minute drive. They didn't have breakfast but gave me a 10% off coupon for the Mexican restaurant next...

Ideal location for visiting the Grand Canyon. We stayed here to do just that and had a really comfortable 2 nights, the room was mahusive I think I remember that they upgraded us as it was a bd stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. Great area for gift shops and non fancy but yummy restaurants. Highly recommended.

Stayed here with our family of 6. We got joining rooms. Staff was great and upgraded us from the motel to the hotel at no additional cost. They also had good restaurant recommendations. Rooms were clean and a good size. Comfortable beds. Will stay here again if we come back to the grand canyon. We like the fact that it...

We were honeymooners, staying at the hotel to explore grand canyon. Didn't find accommodation inside the park so this was the best bet outside (closest to the park). For $ 150, we got discounted breakfast at a nearby mexican restaurant since they don't have a restaurant on their premises and stayed in a handicap accessible room so got a huge...
