We stayed here on night on a road trip through AZ. I realized I booked the wrong night about 3 hours from the hotel and kinda freaked out because it was Spring Break and I figured my mistake had cost me the cost of a hotel for one night. I called and the receptionist kindly moved it to that night...

This place is fine. Yes, it is expensive because of the location, but it is clean. It feels weird, like a hotel near a Midwestern water park, but with a kitschy hunting lodge theme. I think kids would love this place, with the giant animal heads, the BIG gift shop area, and the live music in the restaurant. We ate...

The biggest problem with the Grand Hotel is management's refusal to abide by commonly accepted definitions of certain words, namely "grand" and "hotel". To my mind, a "hotel" is a lodging establishment that offers services such as valets, bellhops, in-room dining, a drink, a bar, a nice restaurant with late hours, a gift shop with personal amenities, etc. "Grand" conveys...

Writing this review live from the McDonalds next door on the night I'm staying here. $380 a night and feels like a less than $38 experience. Pure tourist trap. Kid's extra bed and baby cot dumped in the room - shows lack of care and service. Hotel feels tired even though it's less than 20 years old. Went to the...

This hotel was really awesome! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very roomy and clean. I highly recommend this hotel. We went to the saloon for drinks and appetizers and had had great service and the waiter was awesome. The next night we went to have dinner at the Star Canyon restaurant in the...

Feels like the Marriott Courtyard anywhere in the world. Mediocre food, bad music, ugly pool and overall mass tourism feeling for the price of the Mandarin Oriental, where I stayed the night before flying home. The only plus, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is the infrastructure and restaurant that are disappointing.

The Grand Hotel was a really nice place to stay. The room was good in size and the bathroom was really nice. Overall, the property seemed recently updated and was enjoyable. The front desk staff was not overally friendly. They never greeted you when walking through the lobby, offered no information on the Canyon upon check-in and just really weren't...

My family (three kids, wife, me) stayed at the Grand Hotel last week (March 2017) for one night while exploring the local sights. First, the good: The hotel had arranged for an extra bed, as requested. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the pool looked fun. However, the on-site restaurant was problematic. We...

This hotel was very nice. It was the nicest in the area from what I could tell. We didn't eat at the hotel because it was pricey. Actually all the food in the area ended up being very pricey. We stayed 3 nights and loved the convenience to the park. If you don't choose to stay inside the park, I...

Overpriced and made to look like a high end hotel, but not so much. Front desk staff not very professional, housekeeping could do better (dirty glasses and towels and bed folded sloppy). Garbage cans outside front lobby were overflowing most of the time we were there. Restaurant was very pricy, food not that good and breakfast buffet $15/pp and not...
