I'm not sure about the whole Israeli-feel-left-out situation or the drug-dealing-in-the-bar situation, or the dirty room sit... Ok... You get it. I'm just a (semi-well-) traveled mom along her 8 year old here. I've personally been here twice before and third time is just as much as a charm as the first and second. I love eating out and probably...

I came here for Shabbat dinner which Zoola hosts every Friday night. The food was amazing and plentiful, it's practically a 4 course meal for 75Q complete with shots at the bar at the end of the night! The staff was so nice and attended to our every need. I highly recommend it!

I would recommend this place for the view and pool, here's the facts: -Pool, bar and dock overlooking lake -Chill, colorful restaurant only place with wifi with Mediterranean food (had the falafel on pita which was good for like 35Q), floor seating -Good prices for 4 bed dorms : 50Q , privates not much more -Dorms near bar can be...

Pros: -Cute colourful decor and floor level seating -Pool -Happy hour 4-11pm: free shot with every drink -Two sharing private room for 2+ nights price is almost same as dorm. -Free tea/coffee in mornings. -Friendly staff. Cons: -Drinking water not always easily available. -Big menu but food was disappointing. -Wifi only works near restaurant. -Rooms near the bar are very...

The layback atmosphere and lovely colors fail to reflect their food. I had eaten here several times 5 years previously and enjoyed many meals. The ground level seating is a real pet lovers treat. That's if you like to eat eye level with dogs begging for food and chasing the garden cats across your lap. In all fairness, the waitress...

The atmosphere is nice and chill you sit on the floor, they have a tent like area and they have a pool. Great for friends. The food is ok but not great. They have free wifi and play nice music. The area is large too so you can come in groups!

This hostel looks so good - the restaurant is pretty and the pool and bar are really good and right on the lake. However, the hostel didn't live up to our expectations. We stayed in other Israeli hostels in Central America and found them great but this one was different; it was really cliquey and, in our experience, you will...

Zoola is a beautiful hostel, with nice and comfortable rooms, public area wifi, and really good common areas. The bar by the pool is very nice, and extends right onto the lake. It organises events, tours, shuttles, but many of the people in the hostel are quite clique-y. Many of them (from Israel) tend to stick together at this hostel,...

We stayed her for 2 nights. Everything seemed dirty (both the dorms and the common areas), and there seemed to be a high tolerance for drugs. One of the ladies we stayed with in the dorm told us she got offered drugs several times and witnessed dealing in the bar during her first night. We avoided the common areas accept...

I only visited Zoola's bar and pool. I wanted to swim (but didn't want to dive into the lake) so I tried going to Zoola's and you can access the pool if you buy something from the bar. The management is very relaxed and friendly. This place is for people interested in partying.
