The owner is so nice and full of happiness. He's very calm and clearly wants you to get the best part of San Pedro. The place is not so big but you get your own room with shower for less than most hostel dorms. I hired a private guide to hike the San Pedro volcano and the Indian Nose and...

Cozy rooms right by the docks and all of San Pedro's amenities. Good prices and nice views, especially from the rooftop patio. Staff aren't super attentive, but they're very friendly if you can find them. Our room was very bright and noisy in the mornings, but I guess you can't blame the hotel for the early sunrise and for the...

Stayed at this property for two nights. Good value overall. It is definitely one of the best choices for anybody needs some "Zen" time during their Lake Atitlan getaway. Room: 100Q per night. Personally I think it's a very good deal here in town. Room is clean and hot water runs all day. Amenities include clean sheet, towel, soap and...

Very very basic room. lumpy bed awful pillows, a shower with lukewarm at best showers, the water trickles out and if you try to remove some of the calcium the electric heater shocks you.. Hotel staff is friend but rarely around the front desk but they have a few young children crying, screaming and playing all day all night. Wifi...

Nice clean and only 100Q for private room with bathroom etc. Very close to the dock. Set off the main road a bit so noise wasn't a problem. Breakfast not included bit a variety of small coffee shops etc just outside.

100Q for a single room with private restroom, wifi, towel, soap, and is clean. Is located on a great location and the lake can be seen from the hallway. The family is extremely nice and helpful. They also have a laundry next to the hotel obviously one needs to pay.

El Gran Sueño is owned by a delightful, local family. It is not a fancy, luxury hotel, but it's pretty, clean and in an ideal location! It's very close to the lake and the launch, where you take the boats to villages nearby. They also have WiFi.

We stayed at Gran Sueño for two weeks in San Pedro. It's a great value, and Jeremy (the owner/manager) gave us a bit of a deal because we booked for 15 days! It is a family-run business, which I like, and the folks there were gracious and helpful...even helping us with our limited Español! We took room 11, which everyone...

We stayed here over the New Year. We walked in at the height of busy season an were lucky enough to get a room. Our Spanish is poor to non existent but the family here was easy enough to communicate with. We booked two nights then had to find another place for NYE which was proving quite hard to do....

We found this place on the day and the owner who spoke little English showed us a couple of really clean and comfortable rooms. Both had private ensuite bathrooms; Q100-150. We picked the room with a river view and had a comfortable couple of nights here. Wifi and refillable water. We also got towels and soap! They don't do breakfast...
