The reviews are real. This place is unbelievable. It's a charming place on the cliffs of Jaibalito. We stayed in Room 12 and woke up to a wonderful view of the Lake and Volcanoes each and every morning. It's a great way to end you trip, relax, read a book and enjoy some nice peacefulness for a few days. This...

With only one night to spend at the lake, we took friends' advice and booked a room at La Casa del Mundo. Our anticipation grew as we bounced across the late afternoon waves. We were met at the dock by a young man who helped us out of the boat, then hefted our suitcases and began the climb upward to...

This charming little hotel is tucked away on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. The views are spectacular and are available from every room. Since this is an eco friendly resort, dinner is by candle light. Each guest has the use of a solar battery flashlight to use during the night. The food was delicious with generous portions. The staff...

I highly recommend this hotel. The view is amazing and the food just as great! I will be staying here on my next trip to Lake Atitlan! Getting there is easy! Just grab a boat from any of the towns around the lake.

La Casa has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. My husband and I visited on a very belated honeymoon. I was blown away by the tranquil atmosphere- we spent a lot of time relaxing and reading, we jumped in the lake, the dinners were amazingly elegant and delicious. The coffee in the morning was...

The place has a stunning location, and the rooms are very cute. We stayed in number 10 which was adequate for a couple. Breakfast and lunch are a la carte and both were delicious and very large portions. Dinner is 100 quetzals and there is just one veggie option and one animal food option, and we found the portions to...
