The Osa Peninsula offers a unique opportunity to experience an ecologically dense area without sacrificing on relaxing beach days. La Paloma makes this unique place even more special. Combining outstanding wildlife tours (Bug Hike, Mangrove Swamp Tour, Snorkeling near Cano Island, Corcovado) with amazing beach relaxation (Cocolito) makes this place an ideal vacation for differing interests. Access to beautiful nearly...

La Paloma is an eco lodge in the Osa Peninsula, on the Pacific Ocean. Yes there are some hills to climb, but the rewards are worth it. Wildlife abounds day and night. Wake to the calls of Howler Monkeys and early evenings with screech Scarlet Macaws. It is super clean at the lounge, kitchen and your rooms are spotless, even...

We had Rancho #6 with a magnificent view of the ocean. The birds woke us every morning right before daylight. Amazing, fantastic -- not enough words to describe this lodge. We went the last week of Feb -- dry season. Highs of 94 during the day with 85% humidity, so bring shorts and tank tops. We went from winter in...

We recently returned from a great week at La Paloma Lodge. We'd been to Drake Bay once before and knew we wanted to return. From the ease of reservations all the way through the end of the trip, I would say that La Paloma really shines at service. Andrea handled reservations beautifully, we appreciated her follow up after the trip....

La Paloma Lodge is absolutely wonderful, and small enough for the staff to be able to really get to know you and your preferences. They really take their jobs seriously, The food is superb, and the chef was able to accommodate my dietary needs without a hitch, bringing me similar foods, The staff greets you with a lot of enthusiasm,...

We have visited La Paloma 4 times and the facilities are as wonderful as the other reviews indicate. So my review will be limited to the events of a recent day at La Paloma. It was to be our last day for this visit and we had not decided what we would do so we asked Jessica if we could go...

La Paloma is by far the best place to stay while visiting the magical Drake Bay. The lodge has a great view, friendly staff, and a warm comfortable atmosphere. You will want to make sure you remember to go explore the surrounding area, given the Osa Peninsula is the 3rd most bio-diverse place on Earth, but will already be nestled...

My husband and I spend the winters in southern Costa Rica and have been to the Osa peninsula several times. La Paloma is our hands down favorite lodge. The staff is extremely gracious and helpful, the guides extraordinarily knowledgable and the facility a beautiful blend of elegance and jungle living. We were traveling with my elderly father and everyone was...

We just spent six nights at La Paloma in the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. It is an eco lodge set in the jungle and built overlooking the Pacific Ocean just outside the tiny hamlet of Drake Bay. To get there from San Jose requires an hour flight to Drake Bay (we flew on Nature Air and had wonderful flights...
