I stayed there at casa Drake for two nights. The house is beautiful as well as very clean. The food cooked for us was amazing. Super fresh and healthy. A different fresh squeezed Juice for every meal. The meals were very inexpensive. I would highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Bahia Drake. The family is very...

We arrived in Casa Drake December 2015 to spend a couple of days there and explore Peninsula de Osa. The contact with the family, especially Edward before the trip was very good and we felt well supported and informed for the trip. A 4x4 is essential and especially when it rains one has to be careful by crossing the rivers....

The house is very nice and clean. Food is good and people are very friendly. Only negative points is that house is very far from sea and city so you have to take taxi and price is very high 16USD per way so we spended 64USD in 2 days just for taxi. Also room separations are made of wood so...

There are a few things to know about this place. Please check the directions in advance, because the adress is NOT in Drake Bay but about 6 or 7 km's away. You must go there by a cab. If you're travelling with your own car (so did I), be aware of minimum one river crossing. It's not to deep and...

Pay attention to just a few tips and you'l have a wonderful stay. Zacharias and his family run this place and do all they can to make sure your stay is more than pleasant. If you drive (and I strongly suggest that you DO!) make sure to plan your arrival well before dark. 4WD is almost required, and you'll need...

Drake Bay in Costa Rica is an incredible place, and the people at Casa Drake are really lovely and caring. However, you need to be aware of these things before you book: - This hotel only accepts cash payments for your board. Having enough USD before you even arrive in Drake Bay is a must. There are no ATMS in...

We stayed here for 4 nights march 2014. The room we had was very clean (as was the rest of the house and bathroom) and really well prepared. We had a fan provided and an insect net kept us clear of bites at night. This isn't a sanitised western hotel, it is a taste of life in Costa Rica and...

We liked this hotel very much. It was as living with a Tico family for a couple of days. These people went out of their ways to help us in any way they could. The rooms were basic but clean. They provided us with a fan as it was quite hot so we had a few good night sleeps. There...

I stayed 4 nights here with my boyfriend and it was the best choice for us! We were the only two in the whole house for the entire stay so we had the VIP treatment, all the attention and help only for us! The lodge is owned and ran by a Costarican family and they do an excellent job, they...
