The house is a wooded building, with an ocean view balcony, located away from the main town, but just 200 meters from the beach; it also has a tropical garden with a lot of forest in the backyard, a lot of wildlife is spotted from the balcony. Yamileth and Pedro Caravaca offer rooms with a ceiling fun, and hot water shower, free breakfast, laundry service, tours with the best guide in the area. The hotel is located in very private place with the best views and the best service.

A great place to stay in Drake Bay. Main house is lovely with beautiful views of the bay from the veranda. We stayed in the Casa del bosque room which is separate from the main house, very spacious and has its on veranda overlooking the bay. Pedro and Yami are both very helpful

We spent six nights at Hotel Casa Horizontes and wish that we could have stayed longer. Our family of 4 adults stayed in La Casita, a very private cabin in the garden, a short walk up a number of steps to the main house (remember to bring a flashlight). The casita has 2 good

The great reviews do not lie! This was one of the best, most authentic, stays that I have ever had in any country. Pedro and Yami are a warm and generous couple that have opened this beautiful home to guests, and their care and attention to detail was impeccable. Location: The

We did tour Corcovado. Not sure if you can go on your own, but I suggest a tour as the guides know the terrain, where the animals are. (Monkeys, sloths, agouti, coati, various birds.) Any tour will pick you up near Horizontes. Ask around for guide suggestions...ours wasn't the best and the good guides make a big difference. You can see birds, including toucans, from The porch of Horizontes. Also agouti wandering in the yard (small raccoon like mammal.) we didn't see other animals from Horizontes...Which I would think would be the same from any lodge on Drake Bay.
