We have just returned to San Jose from a 2-night stay at Costa Paraiso. My husband and I stayed in Toucan, and our son and two friends stayed in Coconut. We loved it - the location is stunning! For me, watching the waves crashing over the rocks, ever changing with the tide, beats looking at sand. The sunsets from the...

Stayed in Toucan cabina, which is the most quiet & away from the sounds of the restaurant & parking lot. Pro: - Comfortable bed - Linens & towels good quality - A/C excellent - Cute porch with table & chairs, hammock & very private. Con: - At $150/night for the one bedroom Toucan room, it seemed pricey compared to other...

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you appreciated the Toucan Nest casita. In fact we try to provide the best quality to our customers. Your satisfaction is very important for us. Indeed we had a problem with the wifi. It happens at some moments because of the natural environment, the trees that might disturb the waves. We...

My family spent 4 nights here and were sad to leave. The kids loved the pool and the restaurant is incredible! The view from the hotel is stunning and the beach next to it is very pretty too. The staff was very helpful, really hope to go back!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Toucan Nest for two nights and we both thought it was a cute little romantic cottage. The view from the bed was gorgeous and there's a cute little porch you can hang out on. The bathroom was modern and very well done up. The grounds were great, and we spent some time in...

Kelly, highly appreciated your lovely review about the hotel and restaurant. Toucan Nest room it´s the most popular for couples and the special thing is the view furthermore the private porch for to chill with the couple. We are located next to the main road, so sometimes you heard some trucks, but, as you said, it´s not a big deal...

Beautiful room (Tucan) in a beautiful, private location. The staff were amazingly friendly and made all sorts of accommodations for us, including allowing us to check in early when the room was available and delivering a pizza right to our room for us to enjoy on our deck. The pool was clean, the grounds immaculately landscaped, and the nearby beaches...

Loved the room (Monkey room)---no smell, plenty of space, working A/C but it wasn't even necessary the whole time because of the cross breeze. And most of all, we loved that our small dog was welcomed here. The staff was friendly and courteous and accommodated our group's needs. The morning walk on the beach was breathtaking. The dinner at the...

Very nice beach location, and they have a pool. The staff is very friendly and the rooms clean but could use a bit of an update. Laundry service is good and quick. The breakfast is not included but delicious ( we had it at the restaurant). They rent out surf boards. The por que no restaurant is very good, but...
