Barry, the guy in the office was extremely helpful to find me a comfortable and quiet room. They had less expensive room but with his great advice, I chose the newer side, still a great deal. It was clean and comfortable. Barry also had excellent...More
Was the Tombstone Motel but is now the Budget Host Inn. The location is great, you can walk to everything in Tombstone. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, "budget" is an understatement. There are no amenities, not even a bar...More
Great location-close to all the events in town. I like to buy souvenirs on all of my trips. This hotel came with its own--FREE of charge bed bugs and mites. Be sure to stay in room #214 if you'd like to spend the night with...More
The name should say it all Budget. The room I had was clean but there are NO amenities such as in room coffee, fridge or microwave and a small older size tv. Coffee is available in the managers office.

We didn't book a hotel in Tombstone ahead of time, which was our mistake. The sign out on the highway for Budget Host Inn is misleading. The check-in/check out desk clerk was extremely friendly and provided helpful information about the town and the sights. He...More

My daughter and family stayed there in April and were bitten seriously by bedbugs! The hotel wouldn't recognize so were reported to the Better Business Bureau. Not pleasant!

Your family stayed with us for two days, upon checking out of the motel nothing was said about any problems with anything. Two days later your Daughter calls and says she was bitten hundreds of times by bed bugs in her room. Anyone who is bitten so many times would at the very least say something at the time it happened. She claims that the room was infested with bugs. After the first night she would have been bitten yet alone staying the second night then leaving and saying nothing to the front desk person.
Bed Bugs when they bite leave a trail of blood on the sheets, little spots of blood are all over the sheets. When the maids cleaned that room after she left nothing was spotted on the sheets or anywhere in the room to indicate any bugs were present, hundreds of bites would have left many spots on the sheets and surely she would have said something at the time.
After she called we checked the room for any signs of bugs and found nothing to indicate a problem. We are a family owned business and value our clients very much. I believe her saying something had bitten her but it didn't happen in that room at that time.
She has stayed with us prior and we didn't want her to be upset, we offered her a two night stay, FREE of charge the next time she came to town. She said NO. We are sorry she had a problem and the offer still stands.
Judging from the other comments on this page everyone has something to say whether right or wrong people become experts when it come to bugs and what to do. No matter what we say or do it will never be right. We have been in business for 15 years and this keeps going on.
