Detailed Reviews
This is a beautiful, cozy homestay about 15 minutes from Calangute and Baga beaches. It has two spacious rooms with bathrooms on the first floor. The rooms have a door connecting them (can be closed if needed). It has also a lush green front yard and a patio to sit and chill. We were a group of six guys, we spent three days here and had an amazing time. The owners Anirudh and Hardika were really friendly and sweet. They recommended places to visit and food to try. They have a cute little doggo, Jenny, who the property is named after. I’d definitely recommend this place and consider going back here whenever I visit Goa next.

+1
Situated in Saligao Miss Jenny's Homestay is really a place surrounded by nature. What you will land into is a big home with a big garden where you will get a area to sit and dine also drink. The place you will stay will be a room in the first floor or in the outhouse they have.
The place is fully furnished and equipped. You have a TV, a Kettle, a small Fridge, books to read, also 2 individual bed or a double bed depending on the room you get.
This place kinda distant to all the beaches like Calangute, Baga, Vagator etc. It's kinda minimum 7 kms to reach the beaches.
Pros:
1. Quite Place
2. Cozy and Homely
3. Close to many shops and hotel
4. Budget Stay
5. Door step rental cars and bike servies
Cons:
1. Privacy is a small concern with respect to the room I stayed in. The room where i stayed had a connectivity to another room when another set of people were staying. All the separation it had was a door which was not sound proof also it had a slit opening in top and bottom.
2. People in the other room will hear what ever you speak and thats kinda annoying.

Thank you for your kind words. We're happy to hear that you liked our home. Regarding the interconnecting door, we will certainly find a way to soundproof the door.

This is an overdue review of a 5N stay during the beginning of August.
We were 2 adults and a 8 year old. Rains were harder and longer than usual. However, contrary to popular belief, what a treat that was!
We had made our booking through airbnb. My questions were promptly answered. Both the room and the property were as shown in the photos.
Now, was the stay perfect? Well, no. Here's how: With torrential rains came a leaking roof in the room. We shifted to another room. Due to the combination of weather, electric pole and fallen tree, there was no power for over 24 hours. While power back up is there, it affected the water supply in our room. Fortunately, we could be accommodated in a ground floor room. While this merry-go-round would have been difficult to orchestrate if the other rooms were occupied and had the inherent inconvenience that is present when shifting rooms, yet this aspect wasn't as annoying as it could have been. The reason being that the owners did whatever was in their control to solve these problems and kept me updated. Not once did I feel that they weren't doing the best they could. The rest was out of their control.
Positives: The space, the cleanliness, the hired help, the prompt responses from the owner. Extra point for the attitude to help as much as possible. As an example, on a morning with torrential rain when neither could we venture out for breakfast nor could I order in since delivery guys were not plying, I requested for breakfast from the house (considering the circumstances). It was supplied without hesitation and charge.
Negatives: I don't count the previously mentioned experience, due to which we kept shifting rooms as negatives because of the reason previously mentioned. However, there are small changes that can be made to make the stay better. Storage space should be provided (The one provided in only 1 of the rooms is also a rather inadequate one), shower curtain will keep the remaining bathroom dry after a bath (if I'm being nitpicky), the floor mattress needs a cover that can be removed before sleep (I especially felt it since my kid was using it). Lastly, our walk to the room always ended with our feet becoming soaking wet due to the rain water collected in the grass. Some stone steps can take care of that.
Having said that, I will keep this stay in mind for my next visit to Goa too. Not only is it placed in the beautiful Saligao, which is away from the tourists yet close to the tourist spots (driving distance) but it is also very well priced.

it was me and my friend who traveled to Goa. It was the best time of the year according to us (July) and the best place to stay. Jenny was who welcomed us first with her beautiful bark and her adorable paws. We stayed in the cottage on the top. it was pretty, peaceful and the main door opened to the mango tree. peaceful staff and friends Steven helped by providing us with sufficient knowledge about the place, Goa and the things we could do. I totally loved Jennie's homestay and I would suggest that one must stay here if you are looking for peace, no crowd and the proximity from the party places.

My wife and I stayed at this property for a week in March this year. And it was a superlative experience. Both Anirudh and Hardika are amazing hosts. We were visiting Goa to look for a property where we could relocate from the city we stay in presently. Not only did our hosts make our stay extremely comfortable they went out of their way in helping us in our search. We do not have enough words to praise them for all the help they gave us.
The property is an oasis of peace located in the middle of Saligaon village which gives a real feel of the Goa we read about. The beauty of the place is that despite the peace and quiet in the area it is very conveniently located from not only a number of beaches but also the market places of Mapusa and Panjim. And any number of excellent eating places just a kilometere or two away.
Anirudh and Hardika ensure that the place is kept spotlessly clean and nothing is found wanting.Would love to visit again .Highly recommended.

We stayed at this gorgeous property with our 1.5 year old son and it was one of the best stays we have had in a long time. Immaculately clean, really well kept rooms, stunning large beds perfect for families and overall we couldn’t fault a single thing.
This is ideal as location, as short ride on bike to nearby beaches and yet away from the hustle. It’s neatly tucked away amongst old Goan houses and gives a perfect sense of being part of the local community and having that cosy home feel. If you feel like staying in and relaxing, plenty of outdoor spots to relax and lounge around. I could go on about it, but best if you booked it and visited the place. :-) And, oh yes, the hosts Anirudh and Hardika are the sweetest and very helpful and acccomodative. 5 stars for them!!

This homestay is located in a quiet part of Saligao. But it is pretty close to the main road as well as a 15-20 min drive from many of the north Goa beaches like Candolim. The rooms were very aesthetically decorated, and the amenities are absolutely fantastic. Hardika and Aniruddh are very fun to talk to and very helpful, and they have great suggestions. The amazing breakfast they serve is also something to really look forward to. Overall, highly recommend this place!

We visited Miss Jenny's Homestay a while back and it was the best decision we made. Tucked away in in the quaint village of Saligaon, the homestay is an oasis of peace yet close to the hustle and bustle of Goa, which was perfect for us as it gave us the best of both sides. Our hosts Hardika and Anirudh are warm and friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and well taken care. Hardika, who is extremely approachable was full of nuggets on interesting local things you can see and do in the area. We stayed in the garden cottage which had a warm decor with lovely furniture and pops of colour. We found it hard to leave the property and spent hours on end in their lovely garden, spotting birds and sipping on endless cups of chai. Breakfast must not be missed at Miss Jenny's, we were served a delicious home cooked chickpea curry along with fresh poi from a local bakery. Little Jenny was the highlight of our stay, she was friendly, playful and a delight to spend time with.

In the by lanes of Saligao is this amazing looking villa, painted white, almost looks like paradise as you reach the place it just takes your breath away, with beautifully done exterior by the host her self, very well maintained tress, flowers and a tiny little kitchen garden.
They have three well done cozy rooms, one is an outhouse and other two are interconnected for a big family.
The mornings are even more beautiful because of the host who makes lovely breakfast for all the guests.
The guest feel as if they are having a meal in they own garden with dining area set up in the open space, with sounds of the beautiful birds chirping.
How can I forget Miss Jenny - the most special of them all, their pet, very well trained and well behaved dog.
At the end of your stay you will feel as if you are leaving a friend behind, because throughout your stay that’s the warmth with which the Host and Hostess welcome you and bid adieu.
Must must stay at Miss Jenny’s

I had visited Miss Jenny's homestay a month ago, and fell in love with it. Being a solo traveller, the safety that a place offers, is always of prime importance to me. And this place is so warm and safe.
Hardika and Anirudh, a young and bubbly couple, made me feel at home as soon as I stepped in. Of course, I did eat Anirudh's head while getting there coz I got a little confused with the route! Anyway, what's also great about this place is that while it's so peaceful, it's just a few minutes away from the party centres of Goa. So, yeah, it's the perfect mix of peace with partying!
And, the highlight was Miss Jenny, the cutest and friendliest missy ever!!!
How I wish this place had a pool!! It would just take the experience to a whole new level! But, it's great even the way it is right now.
