Everything at this site was good, except the fact that there was a lot of various trash (bottle caps, plastic items, etc., in and around the complex.)
Wish that the Breakfast offered a meat item or two, although understand that it was a Continental Breakfast.

Stayed over the Christmas weekend while visiting relatives. Room was clean and housekeeping kept supplied for the four days we were there. Will probably stay again next year.

Very friendly staff. Old school indoor rooms. Clean pool and Jacuzzi.. They actually have a few smoking rooms.... unfortunately I appreciate that. Especially when it's 30 degrees outside. Breakfast is complimentary from 6:30 til 9:30. Included coffee, tea, juice, Belgian waffles, cereal, toast & pastries....More

Unfortunately, we will agree to disagree on the details concerning your circumstances. Therefore, I can only apologize that we did not meet your expectations during your stay.
Most hotels will not let you check-in before the posted check-in time. This includes hotels from Las Vegas to Sierra Vista. We had the courtesy to allow you to check-in at 12:35pm without hassle because we had rooms available at that particular time.
However, on your date of departure, the housekeeper assigned to your room was waiting for your departure at 10:45am. Unfortunately, it seems that you had a sense that you were entitled to a late check-out. On a busier day, I would have instructed my housekeeper to do your room last and go on to do other assigned rooms. However, that option was not available to me since you were my housekeeper's last assigned room as she was waiting at 10:45am.
At check-in, you agreed to the posted check-out time of 11am. You were advised of your options and voluntarily chose to stay past that time. Most hotels charge 1/2 a day or a full day rate for late check-outs. We provide a quality hotel at a reasonable price - instead of charging an additional $10 per night per room we only charge the guests that choose to exercise the late check-out option.
I wish circumstances would have been different. On a busier day, I would have had other options. However, I don't believe that I should incur additional payroll expenses on a slower day simply because a guest refused to leave at the agreed upon time.
I apologize that you had a bad experience at my hotel and hope that you choose Days Inn Sierra Vista for your future lodging needs. We provide a quality hotel at a reasonable price. Other hotels may be cheaper but at a lower quality - or the same quality at a higher price.
