Booked three rooms for one night. LOVED the kitsch, and the rooms were super clean and the beds were great! My whole family enjoyed the continental breakfast-a variety of cereals, fruit, yogurt and some pastries. Route 66 in Seligman is truly right out of the movie "Cars"-we really enjoyed it!

This hotel was suggested by my Grand Canyon tour guide. Arrived, and found the one street city surprisingly familiar. The hotel is in Seligman on famous Route 66 and this is the town that inspired the movie CARS by pixar. The Canyon Lodge is a great little place, each room has a theme. Clean, comfortable and the staff (Reinhard) was...

we wanted to feel some of the historic route 66 spirit and drove from kingman to seligman. well it was mostly just boreing... "dead" little towns and nothing more! but then we arrived at seligman and the canyon lodge. seligman is nice and small with little tourist shops. and then canyon lodge was wonderful! each room has its own decoration,...

Quaint, nothing fancy but clean & comfortable. Pretty much like it was in the 50-60s. Convenient to food, shopping, or just walking through this stange little town. Owner was friendly and helpful. Good choice for an overnight stay.

We spent two nights at the Canyon Lodge and our room very clean and pleasant. The host Reinhardt was great to talk with. The lodge provides discounts at some of the restaurants in town. Just show the server your key and you will receive a discount. There is a carpeted deck above the office which was a great place to...

How can you beat this? Very Clean! and pleasant room in small town on Rte 66, at a very reasonable price. Reinhardt, the howner and host, even provides a discount to the towns best restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here after finishing a trek to the Supai Village. Neighbors were a bit noisy but this can happen anywhere.

Although the town of Seligman is a stop along the old Route 66, and not much of a town, Canyon Lodge reflects the values of the age of Route 66. I have been in rooms that cost twice as much and provided half the amenities. We had the Hollywood room (room 12), upstairs (no elevator), surrounded by posters (actually completed...

The Canyon Lodge was perfect. We had three rooms on the second floor. The rooms were clean and all themed. We stayed in a classic car room, a Harley Davidson room, and a train room. Breakfast was continental but fresh and appropriate. Rooms were very inexpensive and in good condition. This is a motel. It is not elegant, but is...

We were a group of 4 travellers from Poland who spent just 1 night in this hotel. As we were tired of sleeping in tents and needed a break from camping, we accidentally came across Canyon Lodge in Seligman. Reinhard, who seemed extremely friendly and hospitable from the start, gave us 2 perfectly clean and wonderfully decorated rooms (one of...

We decided to go "off-road" from our I-40 trip toward L.A. and see a little bit of the old Route 66 in Arizona. Based on the good reviews we saw, we decided to try the Canyon Lodge. From the appearance on the outside, it was hard to see what the positive reviewers were talking about, but we were willing to...
