We live in Phoenix area (just moved here) and our 10 year old granddaughter was visiting from WA and we wanted to take her to the Grand Canyon and I always wanted to stay in Sedona, so I researched like a mad woman trying to find the "IT" spot for us to cool off (Sedona at least 10-15 degree's cooler...

Deevague, Hearing that the Amara was the “IT spot” made me blush a little...that is certainly high praise! The shout out to Orlando and the entire team is greatly appreciated. They are true ROCK STARS. You are spot on in regards to Sedona’s proximity to the Phoenix area making it an easy trip to escape the summer heat or even...

Amara Resort Amara resort isn’t quite what you’d expect from the photos. Unlike a lot of Sedona properties, it’s not surrounded by the beautiful landscapes but rather, tucked into a small canyon directly off the main shopping drag down a steep hill. Tucked away, all views are out the back and they are spectacular with several of the classic Red...

My family had an extended stay here on our last visit to Sedona. We were all very pleased with the room, staff and proximity to town. But the real enchanting part was the lovely view from poolside to the awesome red rocks flanking the creek. Every morning and evening we would swim and enjoy the wonderful ambience and true beauty...

We paid a premium price for a creek-side suite, but the "creek" is not much to look at. The only real "views" from the hotel are located around the beautiful hotel pool (we were taking bets on how many iphones get dropped in the pool every day and decided the over/under line would be 2.5). The hike up to town...

My boyfriend and I came for a relaxing get away! We loved the view! And loved the pool! But when we went to get our couples massage we were told that "20% tip is requested but not required " you never tell your client how much to tip... That made us want to tip less! We know etiquette is 20%...

We loved this hotel, as soon as we arrived our bags were unloaded and our car parked. The valet lads were great. They also dropped us up to a mile away and picked us up for free in the evenings when we went out. The rooms are very new modern and clean. The pool and hot tub have a lovely...

Stayed here for a wedding. We got a creek side room which turned out to be nothing special except the very high price. The restaurant was just average and not really worth the resort fee's either. For the prices you pay I had expected much better

My wife and I stayed at the Amara Resort and Spa from 08/17/14-08/19/14 in a standard king room with a $25 per day resort credit. The resort is located in the heart of downtown Sedona, an excellent location. As soon as you pull up and meet the valets you will notice the excellent service at Amara. I actually saw one...

This property has a great location right in the centre of Sedona, a perfect base to explore the area. The rooms and public spaces were comfortable and modern. There is free wifi if you are a member of the rewards programme as well as a 10usd voucher to be used for the bar or minibar. Valet parking is included in...

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Probably best location for a lux hotel if you want something in middle of uptown (just a walk up the hill). Service was great and view and location is incredible. Only negative was noisy AC
