Basic rustic room, microwave, mini fridge, toaster, Kurig (who thinks this is good coffee) pot.

Great base for exploring the shops and bars. Walking distance to town.

Leave the car, parking is terrible on Holiday weekends.

Stayed in the King room. Spacious. Bathroom is dated with low pressure water. Decor is quaint. Heat did not circulate in the room very well. There are no elevators, so not handicap friendly. View from balcony is nice, but a lot of it is looking at ceilings of properties nearby. L

I stumbled across this very private gem a few years back and stay here every time I visit Sedona. With only 3 suites, it books fast and people often stay for an extended period of time. The owners are very welcoming and treat you like family. Location is in walking distance to t

I was most fortunate to stumble across this place when searching for a nice place to spend 3 days of my honeymoon.
The price was excellent, as Sedona isn't a cheap place to stay.
As I booked this from the UK, the owner Kimberly was superb in helping me out via email answering all

Is room #6 have two queen bed?
Hi :) We actually have a suite downstairs that we opened in Sept. that has a King bed and then in the living area has 2 sleeper chairs, so can accommodate more guests. We are still working on getting the website up and running. Hope this answers your question. Happy Travels, Penny 928-301-9064

Greetings from wintry New England! I'm trying to find accommodations for a 56-year-old female friend who desperately needs a life-reset getaway. I liked what I saw of The Room Upstairs, although one review concerned me. Someone wrote that the location would not be suitable for a single woman due, in part, to dimly lit streets in the neighborhood. The Room Upstairs seems affordable and pleasant, but that one review has left me with some lingering doubts. I'd appreciate it if any former visitors could share their perspective on safety there for a single female traveler.
Hi! Sedona has an ordinance on lights that requires businesses to utilize dimmer settings. The streets are very calm and safe, and this property is in a great location close to everything. I personally would have no concerns walking around uptown Sedona at night by myself, but everyone has their own level of comfort of course. Sedona isn't a big city with lots nightlife, so you won't see much of anyone walking around late at night anywhere in town. Hope that helps.

"While there is a kitchen, plan on using it only for convenience of small refrig, microwave and coffee pot."
"Only two rooms - one queen, one king. Other than that, no advantage that I can tell."
"As it says, it is upstairs. Be prepared to carry your bags up an average flight. Also, if you arrive at night, it is very dark."
