Sandwiches, mimosas, desserts, tea, live piano playing and amazing views. Add a few friends and have fun. It's pricey but worth every dime! Put on some snazzy clothes and let the staff serve you, they are literally at your beck and call!

A 5 star resort, great lobby, fantastic rooms. Service very attentive and helpful. We had a steak at J and G, the service and ambiance was great. Steak was great, sides orders were great also. The only negative, expensive. Be prepare to pay well over a hundred a person. Remember this a resort that many of their guest are visiting... More

Awesome place, the folks couldn't be more accommodating. I wanted tickets to the Arizona game, the concierge handled immediately. The restaurants were first class and the food lived up to expectation.

Superb location, gorgeous rooms and a gold standard in customer care. Choice of restaurants as good as it gets and fell in love with the golf course too. All in all, one of the finest examples of a luxury hotel in teh world and definitely in my top ten list

First let me start by saying that I came to this hotel with high expectations. This hotel is usually rated very high on this site and others and having been to Scottsdale before but stayed at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch I would say that if I came to this area again I would stay at the Hyatt Gainey or Fairmont.... Thank you for your comments. We regret that your birthday weekend was disappointing. Following a recently completed six-month renovation of all guestrooms and suites on property, the resort's public areas will undergo a major redesign next summer. This includes the main lobby, spa and pools. While you were here, we hope you had the chance to visit our two-acre retreat,... More

The Phoenician has a bit of a sordid past, created by Charles Keating out of money he stole from depositors in the S&L scandals. Today, it's a Starwood "Luxury Collection" hotel. Located at the base of Camelback Mountain, the hotel has great views of the mountain, a wonderful several acre cactus garden with paved walking trails (walk attentively though; posted... More

We stayed here when it was brand new and fell in love with the Phonecian. Many years passed until out return visit. We were given a freshly remodeled room that was very nice. Our only complaint was with a noisy air conditioner that made an annoying noise when it cycled off. There were noises coming from the pipes also. I'm... More

The Phoenician is delightful- not only is it in an exquisitely beautiful setting, but the rooms, newly redecorated are comfortable and beautiful. We have stayed at this luxurious property before but I noticed this time the exceptional customer service, every one we encountered seemed eager to help us with any problem or question. Thank you phoenician

We spent 4 days for our 28th Anniversary. It was a relaxing retreat. The room was comfortable but is ready for some maintenance/updating. The Spa was very enjoyable, with my favorite treatment being a massage. Overall it was a relaxing getaway with great service and beautiful amenities .

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The service from the staff around the pool was excellent and we ate in all three restaurants which not only had a good selection of food but excellent service as well. When we arrived we upgraded the room to one with a patio which was great for sitting and... More
