Friendly place as a couple or family. The quiet pool was just that; calm and very relaxing for just the two of us. We used the hot tub and it was nice also. Breakfast was poolside and was very good. I would love to take my grandson here too.

We enjoyed the week very much! Just a very good spot to rest and relax for a week. The only thing I would change is to have a spa tub in our room! They are good for arthritis. I did not have a stove, just a microwave and would like a stove next time. Bacon is ok in a

Hello there Nomad, Wonderful to hear that you and your husband enjoyed your time with us and I trust it left you both rejuvenated. Even though you didn't have the spa tub directly in the room, I hope you were able to take advantage of our hot tub inside the pool area. Last but not least: totally agree on your bacon in the microwave comment :) We hope you'll be back sometime! Best, Michelle Sheraton Desert Oasis

does the small villa have 2 stove top burners to cook or just the microwave
Hi Tom. About half of our small villas have a built-in 2 burner cooktop; the other half has only the convection microwave. We do have portable hot plates available upon request for those. If having a built-in cook top is important to you, please give us a call and we'll be happy to put that request in your reservation. Best,Michelle

This resort is on the north end of Scottsdale - so travel from the airport is about 30 minutes depending on the time of day. Your question of how far the resort is from "downtown" is unclear - downtown Phoenix or downtown Scottsdale? Again, downtown Phoenix is about a half hour. It's about 20 minutes to downtown Scottsdale.
