I travel quite a bit for business, everything from high end resorts to Residence Inns. My husband and I gave Firesky a chance for a personal anniversary trip. Boy do we regret it! It's completely not worth the price! A resort should be all about service and we didn't see any of that- whether it be the awful room they...

Ouch, that hurt to read. Please accept my sincere apology for creating such a bad experience for you. I will tell you that I am surprised to hear this as we are normally so much better than we were. My goal is to provide a warm, inviting and relaxing stay with great service! I will be sure to look into...

There are many of these second tier resorts in Phoenix...not trying to compete with the Princess or Marriott, but offering a more limited approach to the same experience. I liked this place a lot...clean, modern, functional, good food and enough resort feel. Great for a business meeting or conference. Restaurant was excellent without being stuffy. Happened to return to my...

What a nice review! With our 14,000 sq ft of meeting space, we are the perfect place to host a meeting. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the resort and are willing to come back. My sincere apology for not extending a late check out. We do try our best, I promise, but we have to ensure on busy...

This is not likely what you expected. Yes, there is the same standard of care and attention by staff as you would expect. However, this is a very tired property. To describe the property, it is like a square doughnut. On one side, is the reception and banquet rooms, as well as the restaurant. The lobby is very comfortable, with...

Thanks for the detailed review. Our 52 year old resort comes with character and mature landscaping to retreat from the city along with a desire for a well maintained property. Thanks for the shout out for the staff and great service. Cheryl GM

This is my second time writing a review for the FireSky, I love it that much. I dont just love it because we got married there in April 2012, but we went back for our 1 year anniversary in April 2013 and it was just as amazing as our wedding day. They are so welcoming when you first walk in...

This a great property for hanging out at a beautiful pool and experiencing excellent customer service for a decent price. If you have a car, it is really nice to be able to park close to your room without having to pay $25.00 per day for parking! If you are looking for a Ritz Carlton, go to the Ritz. However,...

I booked a reservation for two nights at this resort in May. I found out right before my trip that this property encourages guests to bring pets. I am allergic to pet hair and I called before my trip to ask for a pet free room which are available per the property's website. The hotel told me they would try...

I would like the opportunity to speak with you regarding the communication and charges that has left you so unhappy with us! Running a Pet friendly hotel comes with responsibilities to provide pet free rooms as well and it appears we totally dropped the ball which we are normally great at! You are welcome to contact me at the resort....

First time visit and without hesitation will absolutely return again. This hotel has a lovely personal 'boutique' feel and by that I mean it is not like other oversized, impersonal, stuffy hotels I have stayed in.. The staff were lovely, nothing was to much trouble you could ask for anything and if they didn't have it they would would get...

Firesky is officially my least favorite Kimpton hotel (it is replacing Hotel Rouge in D.C. - making two Kimpton properties of which I am not a fan. But! Please check out the other Kimpton properties, they are usually amazing! Pet-friendly, gorgeous, cheeky, comfortable, I love them all. Firesky has very attractive common areas, a beautiful entry way with waterfalls and...

Ouch! That hurt a little to read that you did not like our guest room hallways and rooms. The resort is 52 years old, but we do try our best to keep it clean, maintained and well designed. I am sorry you won't return to us, but happy you have other Kimpton Hotels to choose from. Sincerely sorry, Cheryl GM

Second visit. Love this hotel. Particularly like the pool, very peaceful in the summer. Free Happy Hour is great and enjoyed the half price Happy Hour bar snacks. If you want a coffee machine in your room just ask. Great for walking to the shops. Definitely my favourite of the 5 Scottsdale hotels I've stayed in.

Thank Louise M
