Came to Arizona for the first time and stayed here. Didn't use the spa but hoping to come back and try the spa. Everything else was great! Drinks were delicious poolside. The beds were so comfortable, and i loved using the balcony for coffee in the morning
Stayed here briefly for a work trip. The hotel is beautiful and feels lush with an abundance of plants and beautiful decor. Great attention to detail in the decorating. The hotel feels very spacious with an abundance of seating inside and out. Nice firepits outside to enjoy the great weather with a drink, as well as a large pool (that I sadly didn’t get to take advantage of). Enjoyed that they have a “shuttle” service that can drive you anywhere within 3mi of the hotel. I had them drop me off in old town to walk around (about .5-1mi depending how far you go). They can also pick you up if you give them a call- a convenient way to get around if you are visiting and don’t have a car. I’d definitely recommend this beautiful hotel
This was my second (and last) time at The Scott. While the rooms were comfortable and clean and the property is beautifully designed, we had numerous room access and communication issues during our stay. We contacted the front desk no less than 5 times with door key issues with our room - only to find out that the locks are battery operated and staff only replace them when the locks die every 3 months or so. Our last morning we stopped by reception to see if we could check out a little late to spend some extra time by the pool - we were told it was no problem and waved on. Then, while checking out, we were surprised to find our bill was $800 over the original quoted price - we tried calling it out to the front desk staff who said “that’s the price of your invoice”. I decided to call accounting to resolve later - it turned out there was an billing system error overnight and the hotel had added additional nights stay to guests’ invoices - plus fees - and our invoice was affected. Accounting fixed the error when I called, but it was sketchy that The Scott didn’t proactively reach out to guests on the issue!? The Scott had also charged us an additional $50 to check out late - a fee that was not disclosed when we asked if it was possible, and I was lectured on their invoicing policies when I told them we wouldn’t have stayed late knowing it was an extra fee. I know this hotel is huge with “influencers” and wedding parties (they were EVERYWHERE), but it’s definitely not worth the $500/night we paid after all the add-ons, especially with the additional headaches.…
We visited last week the first week of October. The weather was unbelievable…..the customer service was better. Greatness is a quality that isn’t easily attained. It takes work, and desire to be the best. The staff showed that this weekend. Thank y’all for taking care of us. Thanks, -J Brady
We took a quick girls trip to the area and luck guided us to The Scott. The location is perfect, the staff is wonderful, the ambience will leave you wanting to extend your stay. We will definitely return for more fun!
