Stopped in Salome for one night while going from Page to LA. Very clean, friendly and cosy place...and easy to find. Randy will welcome you. Just beware of the one freight train that crosses the town at midnight! ...and can't restrain from blowing its horn. It can be surprising.

This place is like stepping back into the 1950s--except now you get good A/C and good wifi. Very cute and quaint. And exceptionally clean. Good bed. Quiet. Seems very safe. A Four unit motel on a side street. How quirky is that.

I would travel back to Arizona JUST to spend the night again at this hotel. It is hands down, the best hotel I have ever been to! While traveling along from Holbrook to Joshua Tree my mom and I had had just about enough driving. I had hopped on tripadvisor looking for a hotel in the area and stumbled over...

Quaint, clean, homy, quiet. Beds are great. Easy going and laid back. Loved the cantina...it was like going to the kitchen at home. Loved looking at all of roadie badges from many cool concerts. Great place to rest after a long day of wheelin.

We were travelling from San Diego to the Grand Canyon and needed to break our journey. We came across the Westward Hotel on TripAdvisor and the place lived up to the reviews. Randy was very welcoming and a great character - I bet he could write a book about all the rock tours he was a roadie on - you...

My son and I bicycled 100 miles from Prescott, Arizona, to Salome and what a relief it was to roll into the Westward! The rooms are nice, the bathrooms excellent, and the vibe just right: welcoming and easy-going. At the end of our week-long bike trip from the Grand Canyon to Santa Monica we looked back on the Westward as...

On a road trip from California to New Orleans , this was our first stop. It was such a great place. We loved the decor .... Was cool, funky and western, and the bed was one of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in. The shared kitchen added to the feeling of warmth.. Almost makes me want to...

My friend and I had just finished a 90 mile bicycle ride into Salome and were growing increasingly anxious as the other nearby motels had no rooms available. The Westward was also completely full, but Rande and Janet found space for us to clean up, relax, and rest our heads. I knew we were in good hands when Rande came...

I was on my way to a campground and did a U-turn as I passed the Westward, stunned by it's colorful grounds and restored Western look. The rooms and hosts were as delightful as the welcoming exterior. And tons of extras - a shared full kitchen, multiple outdoor patio and sitting areas, firepit and grill... A place to discover and...

The hubs and I had a beautiful two days at the Westward Motel. Rande, the proprietor, has worked miracles redoing the place. And what a nice guy. Only four rooms but very comfy in that southwestern style and the grounds are lovely. If you ever find yourself in Salome, dont stay anywhere but here. My pics dont do justice. Happy...
