I got into my room and enchanting as the old stile elevator up to the room and excellent front desk service before that I got a call from the front desk asking me how my room was. Never having that before made me feel special so awesome and big 2 thumbs up for that. After a long day out i...

The upside is that the Hassayampa was within walking distance to every where we were going and was full of charm! The lobby had a great little sitting area with a fireplace. Keep in mind that the hotel is very old and so is most of the stuff in it. We booked one of the king suites. It was an...

We have stayed here twice, getting a great price both times. This is a beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but I think they were back then. Some people talk about ghosts at this hotel so we played that up and scared our fellow travels!

A friend recommended staying here, as we were interested in "haunted" hotels. Room was adequate for 4, however double beds are too small to comfortably fit 2 adults. Loved the historic charm, original elevator, memorabilia. Bathroom is microscopic, compared to modern hotels. Hotel restaurant served a wonderful breakfast, but was overpriced, as most are. Bar area is small, but service...

I'd give this hotel more stars but my reasons are listed below. Check in easy, although you have to park across the street, no biggie, grounds, hotel, absolutely stunning. Hotel was built in 1927 so just know, your room will be tiny. I will say that I was impressed with the fact that they provided USB and 110 charging ports...

My wife and I booked a stay here for our 20th anniversary and had a wonderful time. From taking the old Otis elevator up to our floor to a delicious breakfast in the Peacock Room, the staff were pleasant and quite attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is located downtown, easy walking distance to antique shops and Whiskey...

Stayed for 5 nights midweek in March. Rooms are small since it's an old hotel (1927) but comfortable. Restaurant and Bar service and food were excellent. Lobby is large and comfortable and bar is fine with you taking a drink to the lobby. Live music most nights in the bar 6-9PM. Staff very accommodating and there's been substantial updating in...

Charming historic hotel. Excellent customer service. Very clean room with nice amenities. Room 413 with jacuzzi is a plus! Located downtown, quiet and away from Whiskey Row {but close enough to walk to}. Peacock restaurant: excellent food and supberb service. Great experience while in Downtown Prescott.

The Hassayampa Inn is a lovingly restored and maintained historic hotel just off the square in Prescott, AZ and if you're looking for charm this is your spot. The spacious lobby boasts a working fireplace, a soaring, beautifully painted ceiling, several sitting areas, not to mention a piano. There's even a coffee bar for your favorite latte. The staff couldn't...

My wife and I stayed at the Hassayampa Inn and celebrated our 53rd anniversary. We reserved a suite and had a great time. The hotel is full of history and the floors even creak which adds to the charm of the hotel. The staff was great and it is something to see them hustle to get the elevator (still requires...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
