I began staying at the ranch 15 years ago and loved the simplicity of the accommodations and the proximity to the outdoors. I've stayed in almost every cabin and have a favorite but each is unique, some are more suited to families and some to individuals or couples. All are fantastic. The present owners have really done so much to...

I stayed a few days in the Monet cabin in May 2014, and it was an incredible experience. Juniper Well Ranch is a very rural property (~ 5 miles down a twisty dirt road) but extremely well maintained. Every night, I heard coyotes and assorted creatures, and during the day, I saw birds galore, rabbits, deer and, of course, the...

Rented the two largest cabins for two nights with a hiking group. This place was beautiful, accommodations were wonderful and so much more than expected. Friendly and helpful staff too! I can not say enough good things about this place, wish I could have stayed a week!

Just got back from a long weekend at JWR and have nothing but great things to say about it. Stayed in the Casa Grande with my family as a base to visit Prescott and to just relax. The cabin was rustic, just the way we wanted it, with excellent views and furnishings inside. How can you argue with Subzero appliances?...

Photos mistakenly dated 8-1, but we stayed 8-31-2013. An unexpected getaway, & owner/caretaker was incredibly accommodating! Stayed in Adobe. Perfect for 2-3 people. Interior well-kept and beautiful amenities. Refrigerator, gas oven, microwave, coffee maker, small floor a/c unit (though not needed). Well stocked kitchen incl. coffee, teas, oils, spices, many dishes, glassware, pans, utensils, etc. Bed very comfortable and enjoyed...

My husband and I stayed in the charming Monet cabin, where we were greeted personally by the owners. The fireplace was ready to go, thanks to our wonderful hosts, and they even provided charcoal and fluid for the grill! We enjoyed our steaks and wine while our dog and cat slumbered on the floor in front of the fireplace. Having...

Quiet nights punctuated with crickets, the chit-chit-chit of cicadas and the quiet tap of moth wings against Mexican tin lanterns. Sipping wine as the sunsets and the breeze flows through 500 year old junipers. This ranch is off the beaten path, yet only 25 minutes from the nightlife of Prescott, AZ. A good escape complete with winery and wine tasting...

My wife & I just came back from a wonderful 4 day weekend. We took our dogs and enjoyed the peace and quiet atmosphere while they had a chance to roam. We stayed in the Adobe and enjoyed the double porches. The hosts, Dave & Linda, were very friendly and we spent time on two afternoons visiting with them over...

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 1 year anniversary by staying in the Monet Log Cabin with our two dogs. I wasn't sure what to expect, but based on the other reviews, I had a feeling we wouldn't be disappointed. We arrived late in the evening to a warm cabin thanks to Dave lighting a fire and...

Expectations of a special hideaway awaiting at the end of a beautiful high desert road are more than fulfilled on entering the gate of Juniper Well Ranch. The grandeur of rustic Arizona with Alligator Juniper and the bucolic, visual splendor of the Old West leads fortunate travelers to the doorway of Juniper Well Vineyards, where you will be greeted by...

“The Casa Grande cabin easily handles three + couples, or large families. Three separate bedrooms, each with a queen or larger bed, very large living room with futon couches, and a loft with queen bed. There is even a queen bed hanging on the porch for those warm summer evenings!”

“Adobe is beautiful and secluded - trains passing thru occasionally may be too loud for some, but not too bothersome. Vineyard being replanted so no tastings while we stayed - they do sell bottles from previous years, though. Pay with cash or check and avoid cc fees. No cell service in cabins, but office does have some reception for your use.”
