yes it's true that as other reviews state perhaps the decor could use a refresh...but if interior design is not a huge factor in where you stay, the multiple positives of this property FAR outweigh that one small thing. Plentiful parking, a nice pool area with Jacuzzi, plenty of space to eat at breakfast and a location with many food options a short drive or even walk nearby. Others have complained about not having housekeeping every day--personally did not bother me at all. If I needed anything the front desk was quick to take care of it. Breakfast was great as usual at an Embassy Suites--eggs to order as well as pancakes and a buffet with a good range of options. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly--I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & would not hesitate to come back & stay again the next time I'm in the Phoenix area.…
Clean, spacious rooms, with a beautiful view! Make sure to ask for golf course/Mountain View or you will be disappointed! Spent our time at the pool and the restaurant. We were impressed with the breakfast! See omelet picture below :) Zeta was incredibly kind and a great cook! Also, there was a woman who made homemade hot sauce using her mother’s recipe. She was a gem! Didn’t get her name though. The pool was nice. Hot tub was perfect temp. View from the pool was great. Hoping they bring out more chairs when covid restrictions lift, as we had a great deal of trouble finding chairs on the pool deck. John and Jeff from the bar/restaurant were great! There was another bartender who was incredibly rude and stand-off-ish, but the awesomeness of John made up for it. We tried almost everything on the small menu they had. We loved the bacon jam burger, salmon, steak, and Buffalo chicken tenders. We would not recommend the teriyaki chicken bowl or the chips and dip. Also, due to covid, they are currently only offering 2 drinks per person for the managers reception and no snacks.…
Good People. Needs to improve the facility and upgrade the facility and pool/ jacuzzi area! Lots of potential - Hilton needs to invest in this hotel and especially the interior paint and imterior decorations.
We booked a 1 king room with a golf/mountain view. The Hilton app is great in that it lets you pick your own room before checking in, so I picked a room on the 6th floor with a good view of the golf course, and the view of the mountains behind the golf course was gorgeous as well. If you want a view of the driving range, pick a room that overlooks the pool, since the driving range is just behind it. The room itself was spacious (550 sq. ft) and in very good shape. The toilet and shower were in a separate room with 2 doors, and the vanity was also in a separate room. The hotel was having elevator issues when we got there (2 elevators down), but one of them was fixed that evening. There’s coffee in the lobby in the morning. Service at the hotel bar was fast and friendly, but getting food from the hotel restaurant was very slow, probably due to the staffing issues every hotel is having. I’d stay here again.…
We checked in on Sunday. We were checking out on Saturday and we were offered Thursday or Friday to have housekeeping clean our room! I requested Thursday. They came and cleaned. We had three full garbage cans. Loads of dirty towels, no replacement of toiletries. We picked up toilet paper and clean towels at the front desk. They were short on cooks so the line for the cooked to order eggs took an hour from getting in line to receiving my omelette. The second time we ate breakfast we didn’t have time to wait in line. So got the buffet scrambled eggs and they were cold. The air conditioner in the room worked great!! They have three destination Tesla chargers and a generic one. The first day- employees were parked in them so we couldn’t charge. The girl at the front desk said she would have them move and call me. She never called and they never moved. We had to find a supercharger so we could go out to dinner. There were other non- hotel cars charging there as well. For the most part we were able to charge each night. We had a nice view/ overlooking park of the StoneCreek golf course and mountains. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable and the bottom sheet was almost too small kept coming off the mattress.…
