This is one of the best Embassy Suites! We attended the NCAA men's final four. The room was clean and very spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! The bonus was having your own private balcony to sit out and enjoy the beautiful Phoenix weather! We felt like we were at a resort. The breakfast was great every day and I what I really appreciated is they hired those with different disabilities to work in the breakfast area...that really touched my heart that Embassy Suites cares! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend! The only thing I would recommend is adding a clock to the nightstand. I know everyone uses a cell phone but I like to look over and see the time.

Hotel's Favourite
The property is lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. The breakfasts are fabulous, the Happy Hour drinks and snacks are super. The chefs, bar tenders and clean up staff are wonderful. We also really liked that the breakfast cleaning crew were mostly special needs folks, it was fabulous that the hotel gives these amazing people a chance to shine. It was uplifting to chat with them every day. It's a great location. Our meeting places were across town, but we would rather stay here and drive instead of staying at another property or brand in the Phoenix area.

We were in the area for a family wedding, so didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, although, bonus -- we used the Hilton app and our room was ready hours early. We checked in at 1:30 pm. Our room was on the top floor as requested with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. Since we wanted to arise early, we left our blackout drapes open and just shut the sheers. The distant lights of the surrounding homes and the sunrise peeking though the window were beautiful. The hotel is big and solid, like they "used to" build. There were a lot of people around, but our room was quiet, which is most important to me. I appreciated the separate bedroom away from the door and hallway. Hotel has "bumps and bruises" -- time for an upgrade, Hilton. The bed was older, with pillows that sank to the mattress. I was glad I had brought a pillow from home just in case, so I still slept pretty well. Room was pretty clean, with unknown hair around the bathroom, but I realize you can't get every piece of hair off the floor or tub, right? The pay-for parking slots are tiny and challenging for anything bigger than a small car and you hope no one bashes your door. It was a short stay for a large amount of money, but all-in-all, it was good. We would probably stay here again in the off-season when the rates were much less than what we paid.

Great staff in a clean hotel. There is phenomenal breakfast bar and a nice lounge for an early evening cocktail. I was disappointed with our “mountain view” as our balcony overlooked the parking lot, and our bed was NOT good quality. For such a nice, classy, hotel the bed left a great deal to be desired. Also for the money we paid to stay at the hotel the fact that parking costs $11.99 night feels like an unnecessary expense as parking was not limited.

Booked a 2 bedroom suite for a night in Scottsdale with 2 friends. WOW, the room was spacious with a large living/dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The room was very clean. Only downside was the price at over $650 a night. We also laid out at the pool and hot tub which was very relaxing.

Having stayed at the Embassy Suites Paradise Village Parkway for 20 years or more, we felt we knew what to expect. Check in was fine although Hilton Gold was not acknowledged and this is normally customary. The four room suite (bedroom, kitchen/lounge, bathroom with toilet and separate hand basin/vanity room) was spacious. Kitchen area consisted of fridge, microwave, table and two chairs, sink, coffee maker, ice bucket and glasses, under sink cupboard with bin and kitchen paper. The bedroom wardrobe included a safe, the wardrobe was small but served the purpose. The furniture all looked good but the chest of draws were a bit rickety to open and close. The bedroom net curtains were shredded so looked very scruffy, looking up from the pool we could see others were in the same condition. The bed was comfortable and always lovely fresh linen. The suite was well kept clean by the staff, the air conditioning was a bit noisy but effective. The included breakfast was disappointing given they did not do poached eggs, despite the large sign for “Eggs Your Style”. We were very surprised that the Embassy brand did not support healthy option eggs, so I had to go eleven days without eggs. Happy hour is good 5.30pm to 7pm, staff are efficient and remember your drinks, selection of drinks is limited but G&T was fine for us. We sat on the rocking chairs out the back and watched the changing night sky over the mountains. Food appears to bar food rather than the restaurant that they used to have. The view from the Golf Mountain View room was OK, room 6050 is located on the side of the hotel and it had a glimpse view of the golf course as it is interrupted by tall trees, it also has a lot of view of Anasazi apartments next door and Embassy car park which we could have done without, given the premium paid for the view and the balcony was small too. The view of the mountains is far reaching for the sunset but we know there are better rooms/balconies. The pool experience varies greatly dependant on who is staying at the hotel, most days were extremely noisy, every bed had a reserve towel and the pool was full with teenage and younger footballers. The pool gate slams almost constantly when it is busy so no chance of dosing by the pool. Car Parking is at your own risk and is chargeable if you stay overnight, so it seems you are penalised for staying overnight. We did mention about the lack of view on arrival at night when we arrived but front desk said it was dark, when it was light the view would be good, not surprisingly daylight did not take away the view of the apartment village next door. We also mentioned the curtains and the no option for poached eggs and whilst the front desk staff were very apologetic, the manager stood close by but did say anything but promptly added comment when I did the online survey. Given the hotel was not full they could have moved us or if that was not possible a reduction in rate. Things aren’t always perfect but it is how issues are dealt with that is important. This has certainly tarnished our view of Embassy Suites, when you have a bad experience, it can influence you view of the entire brand.

Hello Marco. Thank you for your loyalty to Embassy Suites Phoenix Scottsdale over the years and for taking the time to share your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that this stay did not meet the high standards you’ve come to expect from us. We apologize for not acknowledging your Hilton Gold status upon check-in and for the issues you encountered with your room and breakfast options. We appreciate your feedback on the condition of the suite, including the curtains and furniture, and are taking steps to address these concerns. Additionally, we are reviewing our breakfast offerings to better accommodate all guest preferences. Regarding your comments about the view from your room and the noise at the pool, we understand these aspects did not meet your expectations. We aim to provide a tranquil and enjoyable environment for all our guests and regret that we fell short in this regard. Your feedback is crucial for us to improve our service and facilities. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and restore your confidence in Embassy Suites.

I had to try 3 rooms before I could get a room that didn't smell overwhelmingly like smoke. I would like to stay here again if a non-malodorous stay could be possible. If the hotel responds to this review, can you let me know if you have rooms that do not smell like cigarettes? Thanks. Breakfast was great, restaurant was great, pool was great, location was great.
