We actually stayed at the Casita this time, though we have stayed at the B&B before. The grounds are beautiful and right on the Verde river. There is a lovely trail right there to hike. We made good use of the hot tub and enjoyed the coziness of the Casita. It does have everything that you need to cook your...

We found the casita very tight and cluttered. The table in the kitchen was useless, as the floor space behind the barstool was storage for gallon bottles of water and cola. The kitchen was well stocked with snacks. The two we happened to pick up (Fritos and Lay's Potato Chips) were past their expiration date. I didn't check the other...

Nancy, We are so sorry you were disappointed with your stay - but I would like to point out that you did not stay at the Bed and Breakfast - you opted to stay at the less expensie "no host Casita" which is adjacent to but not part of the VerdeRiver Rock House Bed and Breakfast so this really isn't...

I've stayed at Verde River Rock House twice, and both times were magnificent! The food is amazing, the snacks and drinks are plentiful, and the rooms are very comfortable! Maggie is a welcoming host and goes the extra mile to add a special touch to any stay - she even makes sure to ask what type of refreshments (alcoholic or...

The website is fantastic - reality was different. We rented the pricier unit with the deck - but the furniture was all covered and there was no room on the deck to sit. The room is TINY but cozy. There were no appetizers in the room(as advertised) at all and we were starving - thinking and being assured there would...

This guest was not booked at nor a guest of the Verde Rier Rock House Bed and Breakfast -- she booked a stand alone cabin from VRBO (which incidently has FABULOUS FIVE STAR RATINGS) and then expected full Bed and Breakfast services. When the cabin is not rented we do cover the outdoor furnishings so that they stay fresh and...

We stayed here for my birthday. Wanted peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got! We stayed in the A frame cottage that was fully equipped even with food. Cannot wait for our next visit. Perfect weekend getaway....cannot wait to escape the summer heat to Payson !

My husband and I stay at LOTS of B&Bs and even after a good one I am usually too lazy--I mean busy!--to write a review, but the Verde River Rock House is just too awesome not to share. We stayed in the casita, which is just darling: lovely beveled and stained glass accents, travertine tile, carved wood, beautiful (and sturdy)...

We visited this B & B as a couple with mother in law to give her a special little get away from the Valley heat. It was perfect. We enjoyed the river-side location, the covered deck to hear the water and watch the birds and critters. Maggie was extremely flexible with our dietary restraints and provided exceptionally delicious meals and...

Tripadvisor hit a home run on this one! We wanted to go somewhere quiet without children. My girlfriend and I stayed at the casita next to the bed and breakfast. This little casita had everything in it...stocked bar and refrigerator, DirecTV, snacks, and was so well adorned with that great pine feeling! The bed and breakfast is tastefully appointed with...

This is a beautiful, interesting and comfortable home nestled beside a creek. You could spend a week exploring all of the interesting nooks and crannies when you are not eating some of the best food you have ever eaten. Maggie, your owner/hosttess is a wonderful cook, gracious hostess as well as being a truly down to earth friendly person. I...

This was our first time at a bed & breakfast so we weren't sure what to expect, but I have to say we absolutely loved the VRRHBB. Maggie is a wonderful chef and prepared an excellent breakfast both mornings. I would have to suggest the Cheese and Cracker tray if you stay not only is this tray very large it...
