Perfect Place, Food, Location, Garden, Birds, Butterflys, Walking distance to town, and Bekki and Rick the best of hosts. Bring wine from the Sonoita Vineyards to drink on the back patio and watch the wildlife flit and flutter in the garden. A perfect getaway.

Absolute 1st class folks (Rick/Bekki) that will make your stay way enjoyable. The room and grounds are outstanding. One can easily sit in the gardens all day armed with a good book and perhaps binoculars for the many avian visitors. Thanks!

Actually I have old family ties in patagonia. My great grandmother, Hotona Slack, maiden name Beaty. Her older brother, Clarance "el chapo" Beaty was one of the original Arizona Rangers organized in 1905. My father fix her up with a home and caretaker when in her mid nineties. My father and I visited from California every year starting from 1977 until she died at 102 yrs old. She was a precious woman who worked hard to make a home and raise 2 children. She was reviered as the eldest resident which to locals means royalty. Back in 1977 to 1982 there was one very small grocery store, a bar, steak house, small school and church. There was a meridian stretching down the middle of town with a gazebo. The town would hold arts and crafts, home town bands, potluck food on the longest tables. Native American ritual dances. It was just a fantastic town with fantastic people. I'll be heading there from montana in late March. There is 2 museums that are dedicated to the Arizona Rangers with a lot of my great great uncle's belongings. I'm hoping it's safe. Don't plan on going to negalas. Thanks
