Amazing experience! When you stay at Taufua Beach Fales, you experience the Samoan lifestyle. Lovely staff, nice meals, perfect beach right in front of you. We def. miss this place and we wish we could go back. The rooms are simple but Samoa it is all about that, experience their way of life and simplicity.

This was our first beach fale experience in Samoa and we only stayed a night but it was excellent. We had a fale overlooking the sea. Taufua fales have nice touches such as the free tea, coffee and milo that you can help yourself to from the cafe at any time. Also a little container of water to wash our...

We were told that this beach was the place to be on Upolu, and we weren't disappointed. A stunning part of Samoa, postcard stuff! Perhaps the most beautiful beach, but we didn't see them all! This felt like the true backpackers spot, where you can make friends with travellers, have a beer on the beach, engage really easily with friendly...

Food was very good and plentiful, staff was very warm and we loved the whole communal setting Not really our usual style as it's not a backers place, but we thought it was still very good value for money

Everything about staying at Taufua was absolutely perfect. If you are not seeking luxury, but are happy with rustic accommodation, superb food, friendly people and a perfect tropical setting right on amazing Lalomanu Beach, here you have found paradise. I had only 2 all too short nights here on my trip around Upolu, wished I had planned for longer, and...

We arrived at Taufua while it was pouring with rain and blowing a gale and were a little concerned that our fale wouldn't stand up to the weather. We were wrong. The fale was warm, dry and stable even during the hurricane strength winds. It can get a little noisy being right on the beach as the waves obviously continue...

Amazing! Loved staying in a beach front open fale (hut). I have a 3 year old-she loved it! Meals are served family style with lots of variety and plenty of food for all! Really loved being the only American tourists-lots of Aussies, Kiwis and Euros...so chill and friendly. Great staff and family owned/run place-they make you feel like family right...

Kia ora Talofa. We LOVE Taufua fales. We are a fun of rustic relaxed living and getting involved in the local culture and we felt we could do this at Taufua. They also have wifi if you need it and a nice living area to chill, read and eat. Ive never drunk so uch coca cola but you just feel...

We love this place. This was our 2nd time here in 3 years. You can't beat the beachfront fales, but you have to walk to the shared bathroom. They also have hard sided fales with bath, but sleeping right on the water with the "flap" up can't be beat. The staff are friendly. It's a family run place. Breakfast and...

We only stayed here the one night as a result of not booking enough nights at the beach fales next door but I would definitely recommend it if only for the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The fales are very basic but clean. Important tip: make sure you bring a bath towel as well as a beach towel as they aren't provided....
