I really want to give this a four, because I am glad we stayed here and it's a fantastic place, but it was slightly marred by the noise and lack of concern for guests. I'll get the negative out the way first. So we stayed for 2 nights and the first night was a bit noisy as they had music...

This is a great place to go to even when you are on a budget. You have everything you need: a fale right on the beach, a beautiful lagoon and a lot of services. People are very friendy and smiling all the time which make the whole area very peaceful. Also the bar there is not to be missed:very good...

November 1, 2014, aboard Crown Princess cruise ship, we arrived in Apia; we had booked a special all day tour six weeks in advance with "Oceanic Tours, their Royal Circle Island tour, however THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. After waiting 30 minutes, we now, the seven of us, booked Dick's Taxi for the day $40. pp, an older van to...

Every where in Samoa is pretty but Taufua had the vibe. Everyone was fun, social and friendly (staff and the guests). This was the best place I stayed at. You can get open or enclosed fales with or without bathrooms. The shared bathroom was clean and nice. Loved having a few drinks on the deck at nights and playing some...

The fales are about 1.5 hours from Apia. I would recommend getting a car if you plan to stay for a while as it gives you lots more freedom to explore and taxis are expensive because of the distance. The fales are right on the beautiful beach. There are a few different places to stay along here but this place...

I stayed in an 'enclosed' fale. The fare includes dinner which is tasty and plentiful. Staff are very friendly and the beach is wonderful at sunset. Try to stay on a Saturday night when they throw a fiafia party with traditional dances. Definitely recommended!

The highlight of our trip! The Taufua family are just wonderful, so genuinely friendly, helpful, funny and caring. The big buffet breakfasts and dinners (included in the price) are excellent and a great way to meet other guests as you all sit at big long tables. The beach fales are RIGHT on the water, with the walled fales one row...

Staying at Taufua Beach Fales was probably the highlight of my samoa trip. Living on a beautiful beach like this is so cool. Staff is friendly and the food is served on a long table "family style", so you get to taste a lot of different local dishes as well as chatting to other tourists.

The Tafua beach Fales are in a great spot on Lalomanu beach with its beautiful golden sand and tropical blue waters. The Fales are right on the beach so you can look out and see and hear the ocean as you relax. The beach is great for lying around relaxing and the water is great for swimming and snorkelling. The...

We stayed in two types of accommodation, definitely recommend the fale with the fan and bathroom. Even though there is no hot water anywhere. Very kind, friendly staff and locals. The lagoon beach is spectacular, so do some snorkling. Great cultural dance Fia Fia night twice a week. Ten minutes from To Sua ocean trench, a must see when in...
