We stayed at Le Lagoto for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We were in a villa 1 the villa was very comfortable with stunning Samoan villa style woven ceilings with air con and a lovely balcony in front just maybe just a little dark inside. The lovely fale style bar is next to the pretty infinity pool. The...

Le Lagoto is probably the best place to stay in Savaii. We have stayed here twice, once for our honeymoon in 2010 and again in 2014. When we returned in 2014 it was a family trip with our 1.5 year old and my in laws. We opted to stay in Jim's house. This is a nice roomy house, that still...

This is a resort-type of accomodation. While it does not offer all-inclusive packages, it does offer on-site meals of very good quality at reasonable prices, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is very clean, while offering a distinctive Polynesian motif, with individual huts. The beach is surrounded by coral reefs which offer the snorkelor a great variety of colorful...

Our family stayed at Le Lagoto for 3 nights and had a wonderful time and will return as soon as we can. We were in a villa for 2 nights then spent the last night in Jim's house a beach house next to the resort with lots of space a boat ramp, garden all next to the sea. The villas...

This place is a hidden gem. It's luxurious, extremely well run, very clean, modern classy decor, beachside falas (self-standing rooms) and have lovely staff. There are only 10 falas total and there is loads of privacy. There is a traditional drumming show every night (5-10 mins to light the tiki torched) and a wonderful (non-cheesy) full traditional dance show once...

My family had the run of the place for a wedding and we could not have hoped for a better piece of paradise! The views are fantastic and the natural beauty is breathtaking. The staff were wonderful and accommodating - letting our younger family have fun into the night. It is a long way from the ferry so you have...

We were staying next door and decided to pop over for dinner one night. The staff were amazing, they spent a long time answering our questions about local customs and culture. The food was fantastic and served by really conscientious workers! Receptionist was lovely - which was excellent. I can't recommend this resort enough. My gratitude to the staff as...

We stayed at Le Lagoto resort for 5 nights. This place was paradise - the water was about 29/30 degrees warm and inviting. Easy access to a lovely spot for snorkelling just off the beach. Even at low tide you could swim just off the jetty in a deep pool. The food was fantastic and priced well. I'm gluten free...

Stayed 5 nights at Le Lagoto resort at Fagamolo in Savai'i. Its a $70-$80 (Samoan Tale) cab ride from the ferry and takes about an hour. We celebrated my wife's birthday at Le Lagoto and it was a delightful choice of venue. Nestled in a peaceful bay, this resort consists of high roofed fales, all within 20 metres of the...

This place is lovely. The best bits: Staff, food, prices in restaurant, snorkelling pool and beach. Things which need improving Fale 7 needs updating-bed collapsed one night and no hot shower in our shower for the four night stay. Bathroom needs an overhaul. Rooms bit small for a family of four. Yes the breakfast is what you get, but it...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Le Lagoto Resort & Spa is located on the big island of Savai'i, Samoa, on a secluded white sand beach, fringed by coconut palms and crystal clear water. We are a boutique resort with 10 Samoan-style bungalows and two family rooms -- each offering the modern conveniences of a large resort in an intimate, idyllic setting. It is with good reason, and much pride, that we take the name Le Lagoto -- Samoan for 'sunsets' -- as ours are truly sensational! As we say here, 'you haven't been to Samoa unless you are in Savai'i'. ... more   less
