It is a nice hotel with a good location. It is located in the centre of the city. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recomended for the price. It has hot water, wifi, tv. Offers Chiva tours for 5 dollars which is very affordable and reasonable.

I waited an hour & a half on arrival for someone to receive me. The 6 year old girl next door finally helped me. Very pleasant people on the whole but really not interested in guests. The rooms are adequate but very dark & dingy, Wi-Fi very spotty in the room so I took a patio chair & sat on...

I stayed there for 3 nights and paid $80. I only realised when I checked in that this was without breakfast. Obviously my mistake but that made it relatively expensive. The room was good, clean and big enough. The bed was comfortable and the the shower had loads of hot water. There is also free wifi in your room. Not...

The managers are very trustworthy because we went camping for a few days and left some of our less valuable things in the owners room. We came back and they gave everything back. We stayed in a two bed room with a shower for ten dollars a night. Great little family owned place, they are friendly and willing to help.

The el Belen hotel is comfy and convenient. The owners are friendly and the location is ideal- steps from the bus stop and from the town center. They have a kitchen that guests can use so if you do not want to spend all your money on eating out- you can cook! Highly recommended!

I spent a week in Banos in September 2014 and I stayed at the Hotel el Belen. My room was very clean and comfortable, although I have to say it was a bit hot during the day and evening. The window was just small and I couldn't get much of a breeze. The bath is very nice, plenty of hot...

Since there was 5 in our room, we were placed in a small room overlooking the courtyard, and didn't enjoy the view from the courtyard rooms, so I would suggest either separate rooms so that you can enjoy the flowers, etc. Besides that, the motel was very accommodating. Very hot water, beds comfortable. Decent price as well. A beautiful area!

Banos might be low in altitude, but the chilled temperature and misty drizzle that met us on our arrival in July made it feel like we’d reached a hill station in the likes of India. But, duck into the small courtyard of Hotel El Belen – a prime spot in the heart of town – and the community’s warm, friendly...

The owners were extremely accommodating and pleasant. Cant beat the location. This is a clean, budget room with a short walk to shops and some very good restaurants . The Hotel arranged a great tour for all of us.. Super Value for the Money... I highly recommend it.
