Nice hotel and the location by the pier is great for getting taxi's and taking boat tours. We had some problems with the WiFi going in and out, sometimes good sometimes not good. The room was fine but we could not find any English specking channels on the TV. My wife speaks Spanish fluently but I could not really follow...

Hotel Albatros is large and very confortable, good rooms and bathroom with hairdryer, guest can use the spa, whirlpool and gym. Breakfast is extensive, different kinds of breads, marmalades, jams and cheeses. Nice to come back to after a day out visiting penguins, hiking in the national park, or strolling through the city. Ushuaia is cold! Do not underestimate it...

I stayed four nights at this hotel before going on a cruise to Antarctica. Many other reviewers gave this hotel low ratings. I think it is fine, keeping in mind that where you are you are not going to find a Hilton or Holiday Inn. Although not luxurious it met my needs. The room had twin beds and other rooms...

After a wonderful trip to the Antarctic Peninsula it was great to chill for 3 extra days at the Albatros Hotel which is right opposite the wharf and very centrally in town so you can walk everywhere. It is very safe to walk around town day and night and some of the local restaurants are amazing. after a long walk...

The hotel is situated right downtown, next to the port so outside is pretty much busy 24/7. I didn't have a problem with noise except for the random horn at night. The rooms themselves are a bit dated by my room was rather rather large. The bathroom itself is nice and recently renovated. The wifi goes in and out so...

This central hotel is pleasant and has some good views of the harbour area. The bedroom was fairly small but perfectly fine for the one night stay prior to an Antarctic trip. Breakfast was good. Apart from the excellent central location one of the main advantages of this hotel is its public seating areas. Particularly liked were the comfortable settees...

Stayed here before trip to Antarctica. Approximately 15 couples arrived to book in and it was not an efficient operation. One at a time we had to fill out passport booking info, (they did not think of handing out forms to all to save time). hence a long time to book in and not all info given at time off...

The cruise ship companies put all guests here so not much choices are applicable. Its very close to the port and shopping area. Rooms are average. Restaurant service is average. Be prepared to ask for everything including salt and pepper

Having to spend one night in Ushuaia before going on an Antarctic cruise meant staying at the Albatross. It is well located right next to the port, but I can say little else to recommend it. I even had to pay for a cup of tea that I collected from the restaurant and carried back to our room. The room...
