I'm not picky about where I spent a night but when you pay for a 4 star hotel you expect a good place to stay. The place smell old, it needs a really update asap. Carpet dirty at the halls upstairs, bathroom so small, if you are over 130 pounds forget about it. The bathtub need to be replace. The...

We found the hotel on booking.com and the price for a last minute room for 2 of us was not much more than the hostels in the town (which are generally expensive and basic). The location is excellent as it's in the middle of the main street and only a couple of blocks or so from the tourist information office....

The place is just awful. We waited over 2 hours for our room to be ready, 2 pm instead of 12pm check in. They put us in a room facing a vent (the only window), tiny, depressing and dirty. I finally went downstairs and had a fit, so they moved us to a better room. They wanted is to wait...

This hotel is perfectly positioned in the middle of the main street in town. The room was clean and reasonable sized. The breakfast that was included in the room rate was all we needed before an excursion to penguin island. A perfect place for a couple nights in Ushuaia

We arrived a day before our cruise to Antarctica and found this very nice hotel. The staff, although not good with English, were very nice and helpful. The room was not real large, but this was just a one-night stay and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was one of the better ones we have enjoyed. The...

A good little hotel in the center of Ushuaia. Staff speak English and are service minded! Good breakfast. The have free wifi but slow like everywhere in Ushuaia. You can eat in the reception but it is mostly microwave food! Clean rooms and bathtubs in all rooms!

Pro: Hotel was in a great location, walkable to all restaurants, shops, dock for boat tours, etc. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, English speaking. Best Location in the Main Street, nice reception are, very nice room (family room), the WiFi works ok and the breakfast is good but no eggs and vegetables in it. Full of eateries and shops close to the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Old, Historic Hotel with a lot of character. Rooms are decent sized and clean. I was in the back of the hotel near the fire escape. I am not sure, but I thought I had heard either people coming up the metal stairs at night, or, more likely, the wind blowing on the stairs, causing clanking noises. Power in the...

Good hotel with a very helpful staff. All the reception managers treated us very well when we need something. The room is ok, standard. The restaurant (Marco) is very good, with great vegetarian and vegan options.
