We stayed here for two nights on our tour Fritzroy/Torres del Paine region of the Andes – specifically to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier. Hotel Patagonia Queen was a most enjoyable experience: from the first moment we arrived at reception the enthusiasm and sheer friendliness of the person on reception was lovely. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and...

My wife and I stayed here before and after our trek through Patagonia. The service is excellent. Rafael, the owner, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was outstanding, the room was clean, beautiful, well appointed. The location is perfect. One of the best properties I've ever stayed at!

We stayed at the Patagonia Queen for 3 nights in December 2016. The hotel is conveniently located off the main road Libertador. It was a lovely base for exploring Patagonia. The staff was pleasant and the room was decent-sized. There is a common room on the 2nd floor and a game-room on the third, however we never used them. All...

My partner and I arrived at Patagonia Queen late in the afternoon and ready to go on a bus tour of Perito Moreno glacier. Unfortunately we were advised that we'd missed all the buses (leave early in the day) but thankfully our host (I'm not sure of his name but he's an ultra runner!) was able to make alternative arrangements...

I was on a Active Adventure tour that booked this placed and stayed here twice. The management is ever so kind and the location is fantastic. Hotels in this region are not that fancy in general as El Calafate is a place where people stay to go hiking and be in the mountains. Everything was good with the rooms and...

I stayed at 3 different places in El Calafate and the Patagonia Queen was by far the best! My room was ready early, which was extremely helpful as I had been traveling from the U.S. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great. The espresso the staff made me was so welcome before...

We checked in pretty late, but friendly staff was there to greet us. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We were most impressed with the helpful staff who tried to help us with booking taxis and answering our questions. We have stayed in other properties in Chile/Argentina on our trip and this was one of our favorites.

This is a good hotel, well situated. Close to most restaurant yet far from the main noisy road. Breakfast is mediocre and coffee could be better. The only (small) issue was with the music the receptionist kept on. We could hear the music thru the floor (room 202) and despite telling him, he didn't stop it. I would say it...

From the absolutely gorgeous wooden floors, the large and sunny guest rooms, the warm and comfortable parlors, the wonderful breakfasts an the superb professional staff, the Patagonia Queen is as though she is from a bygone era - one of unpretentious elegance. As a guest you feel pampered at every turn. Heated bathroom floors, oversized plush towels and beds that...

As beautiful as the pictures. Breakfast is the best in Patagonia. Owner is an ultra runner and a sweet man. Absolutely delightful room and stay. Frosted beer mugs at the bar. Play pool in the evening. Lovely well maintained gardens. Just a truly relaxing hotel.
