cosy, well-located little hostel, nice communal area, good kitchen, decent basic breakfast. Dorm rooms are very small but there is separate storage space, and the big atmosphere makes up for the small space. Mariano is super sympatico and incredibly helpful, and will go out of his way to help you make the most of your stay.

I stayed here 2 nights while travelling north from Ushuaia to Santiago. I picked it by chance from a list given to me at the bus station. It's close to the bus station and town centre. Friendly, English speaking staff, reasonable rates, clean rooms....highly recommended. Peter Schindler UK

We had a double room in the lovely garden area. Located close to the bus station, which is v.useful, and a 5 minute walk down to town. Friendly staff and nice communal area, also arrange tours to the glacier and Torres del Paine.

We stayed at this conveniently located hostel in February 2007 for 4 nights. It is fabulous and cheap. The gardens are lovely and the staff very friendly. Only 250 metres from the main street - banks, restaurants, tourist shops etc.
