Nice hotel just 3 minutes away from the main street, where you will find many restaurants and shops. Surrounded by a small but well cared garden, the "cabañitas" are lovely and clean, although a bit smallish. Ours (#1) had a lower floor with a single bed (we used it for the luggage), a small table with two chairs, microwave and...

For 300 pesos, we got a tiny wooden cabin with an appalling bathroom (my friends didn't even to shower in the morning: it would take 10 min+ to get hot water with very low pressure, all this with a terrible smell). Two bunk beds on the 1st floor, and a larger bed upstairs (accessed through a very steep stairway -...

Hi, my name is Gerardo and I own The Cabañitas. I sincerely regret very much the comment, because of the constant daily dedication that we offer to all those who visit us. I would also respectfully make clear that the cleaning and care of our family and serves as the breakfast are our priority. We are a hostel with rustic...

Simple rooms at a good price in an overpriced town. The little chalets are wonderful and the owners are a very friendly family that can arrange excellent tours around the area. Food is very good and it is a great home away from home!

We really enjoyed our stay in these charming A-Frames in October 2011. We stayed for 2 nights, then spent a day in El Chalten and returned for an additional night. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He was very understanding even though we arrived very late thanks to a delayed flight out of Buenos Aires. The lodgings are just...

If you sleep in El Calafate and do not want to be far from the main street and the bus terminal, try this hostel. I particularly recommend asking for a "cabanita", kind of Patagonian double-floor chalet. Breakfast was excellent and price is more than fair. During our 3 week trip in Argentina, this hostel was definitely among the best.

Such a quiet and relaxing place to stay yet be close enough to the main street of El Calafate. Great homely atmosphere where you can enjoy a morning coffee in what looked like the owners own dining room. Perfectly authentic Argentinian experience.

We had a super stay this spring at Las Cabinitas. The rooms are small but cozy and clean. The locations is ideal, two blocks from main street, two blocks from the bus station. The family at Las Cabinitas is definately the best part, as they are really nice, and extremely helpful in setting up travel, excursions etc. We would go...

All the staff from the owners to the kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We stayed in one of the Cabanitas and in one word they are "cute". From details inside and outside you can see that they were built with love! The shower room is indeed tiny and only seperated by a curtain from the...
