We spent here just one night but really liked the place. The owners are very kind and helpful. Before our stay there we were allowed to leave part of our extra luggage for no additional cost. We checked-in really late (at about 10-11 pm) and the owner prepared a dinner for us (we ordered it before our arrival but it...

We travelled for two months in South America and this was the best place we stayed. Adriana and her husband are both extremely welcoming. There was a little language barrier as our Spanish was not good but Adriana also speaks French so we struggled along with that! The breakfast, which is all homemade by Adriana is incredible. We will always...

We loved this place! Adriana was so warm and welcoming, we felt right at home here. For us, it is in a great location, a little walk from town but close enough to get there when you need to. Adriana's breakfast was a highlight, absolutely delicious all 3 mornings we were there. The room was clean and warm and everything...

This place reflects all the charme of the Patagonia's experience. Clean and very confortable, open all the seasons. A bit far away from the centre of El Calafate (but still 2km... and few pesos by taxi...) but with much better standard for same price if compared with double/single accommodation at hostels. You can even have dinner if you wish to...

i've been there for 4 nights (in two different moments) with 5 friends in feb 2016. excellent place: the rooms are very clean and cozy, there's a nice and warm living room filled with sunlight - and the owner, Adriana, is extremely kind and willing to help. they kept our extra baggage (we went hiking) for free even if we...

This is a bit overdue, but its been on our to-do list for a while. My husband and I stayed here for the 2 nights we were at El Calafate last year. Adriana and her family made us feel so welcome into their home, giving us handy tips and advice whenever needed. The common area upstairs is lovely to sit...

I stayed here for a couple of nights and felt very welcome at this family run hosteria. Adriana and her husband made us feel at home. Adriana made us a home cooked meal for lunch and dinner for a reasonable price as we were too tired to walk into town. The room was big enough for us, but we spent...

We spent almost a full week at Rukahue. It became our local base for excursions in and around El Calafate. The Hosteria was exactly the type of place we were hoping to find: homish, warm, cozy, affordable and service oriented. It certainly played an important role in our overall excellent experience at this wonderful tourist region. But there is more....

I stayed here for 1 night, it is bit far to walk to town centre. This place is up the hill. The road to the town centre is not very good. El Calafate is a vert windy place. It is ok if you take the taxi or you have a car. The staffs are very helpful. The breakfast was good....

Yes the room was small and yes the shower was tiny but Rukahue is all about hospitality. Adriana is such a lovely woman; we just felt totally at home during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed the common areas of the hosteria - there is a seating area upstairs with great views of Lago Argentino where you...
