Good clean hostel, staff were very friendly but as most weren't locals lacked in-depth knowledge regarding hikes and the Bariloche area. The double private was large and comfortable with a great view. The bathrooms were very clean however the showers had basically no water pressure and were pretty ineffective. The wifi like most hostels in Bariloche was slow but usable....

Staff was very nice and helpful on getting around town and bus info for hikes. Vibe was laid back and nice common area. Had some cleaning issues and other things typical of hostels. The street is very loud with live music and bars on weekends. Earplugs a must.

Miss that place. Me and a group of friends stayed in this hostel in 2013. It was a perfect stay, we were treated and served very well throughout the stay. It is very well located and it is definitely a charmy hostel in a charming city.

I cannot express how much I enjoyed staying at this hostel. It was by far the best experience of my entire trip through South America. It really was like staying with family, right down to the home-cooked vegetarian meals every night (riquíssima!!). In short: The food = magnificent The people = even better If ever I find myself in Patagonia...

Great atmosphere, great staff. Vegetarian food every day! Free breakfast is excellent (coffee, tea, toast, jam, coconut milk, butter, oats....). Location is central in the city, walkable distance from the main busstation. Plenty of bars around, but quiet once you are in the hostel.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at 41 Below! The staff was so helpful and kind, and the location is a dream! Although great, it got soo hot inside of the hostel, especially upstairs (where the rooms are), and the wifi was spotty. Honestly though, the location is so perfect that this place is hard to beat. The beds are comfy...

The staff at this hostel are really what make it great. They ensure a personal connection with every guest and are extremely helpful in any inquiry you might have. Clean, comfortable rooms and the common area is a great place to meet other travellers. My only complaint is the kitchen is a little small, but it's very functional and has...

I visited here approximately 10 days ago after hearing very good things from other travellers. I was not disappointed, indeed the hostel exceeded my expectations. All the facilities were good - powerful hot showers, hairdrier a in the bathroom, comfy beds, good communal area and great breakfast. However the staff made this hostel my favourite of my trip. They were...

With our travels we meet many people who said we must stay here. Pretty disappointed. Got our booking wrong. The hostel has five people who live there and use the facilities as well. Great location. Very old very run down. Hope you like daft punk cause it's played over and over.

Loved this place! Awesome helpful staff, they have lots of organized information about transport and sights, and are very helpful. The beds are solid and comfortable, good hot showers. Friendly atmosphere easy to meet other travellers, and great central location without too much traffic.
