Stayed here for 4 nights in double room. Hotel is literally on the plaza, our room had a balcony overlooking it. The hotel was clean although it is a little run down. Room was cleaned daily and bed was very comfortable. Every staff member that we encountered was very pleasant and seemed to be in a good mood which creates... More

This place is just metres away from the main square, making it easy to walk around. It shares the lobby with the Van Gogh Cafe, which is a decent, affordable restaurant. The hotel also offers free wifi. During my visit, it appeared that the hotel was undergoing some renovations, which it desperately needs. The elevator worked for my arrival, but... More

Room 42 Good location. Walking distance of restaurants churches museum and gondola. Lobby furniture picture is not accurate it is black furniture kinda well worn Our room was an inside room so no windows. Also it was just white walls that were dirty. Overall the room was clean. Towels not changed daily. Staff friendly.

I loved my stay at the Plaza Hotel in Salta. I had a room with a balcony directly over looking the atmospheric square. My room was spacious, clean, and the front desk staff were highly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served downstairs in an adjoining restaurant -- if you are on the 7 am pick for trips you get '... More

Plaza Hotel is located in the heart of Salta, which means all the attractions are nearby. The hotel is going through safety remodelations, which it will be much better. The rooms have the essentials except a hair dryer and a iron. On the other hand, there is a huge sense of security because you will see police everywhere (you'll see... More

We spent 5 nights here and really enjoyed it. This is a well maintained older hotel. We had a large room with a queen sized bed. Our bathroom was large, vey clean and everything worked. The modern air conditioner cooled the room beautifully. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Looking at some of the other reviews it seems like... More

Excellent location right at the main plaza. Basic, but still classy. Recepcionista muy amable con sonrisa linda. Early breakfast available, breakfast is not very rich though. Spacious room, but very noisy, as windows can't be completely closed.

We ended up in the Plaza as Salta was pretty full. I can see why it had remaining space. The bathrooms in particular are very poor, dirty and mouldy and flood from the showers with no ventilation. Aircon is useless and noise from outside prevents leaving windows open (I guess this is not an issue in inside rooms but then... More

This hotel promises much. A perfect location looking out over Salta's lovely main square. A large, spacious foyer is airy and welcoming. BUT... The room to which I was sent was dreadful. Measuring about 8 feet by 12 feet, it contained a bed no more than 2 feet six inches wide, and the "window" looked out onto a small, dark... More
