Balcarce is one of the in places of Salta. 10-15 minutes walk distancecto main square, but at Balcarce you don't look for it, street is full of bars and restaurants. Altos de Balcarce Hotel is a 3* one with helping and smiling staff. The rooms not one of the most spacious ones, but it's good and clean enough. The breakfast...

What will you expect of a hotel: nice and clean room and bath, friendly staff, good food, hospitable atmosphere, reasonable price. We found it all at Altos de Balcarce - and it's downtown Salta. There's no need to say more - even if tripadvisor asks for more

This was a nice hotel in a good location. It was easy to walk everywhere. I have given it an excellent as although it is not 5 star, for the price it is great value. The rooms are smallish but sufficient, we had a balcony so were able to sit outside in privacy. The rooms were very clean and tidy....

This hotel is fine for a short stay. The room was average, but clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is not that great - typical Argentine sweets but nothing more. It's located just a 10 minute walk from the center.

Nice hotel, rooms were a bit small but everything was clean, staff was very kind and helpfull (most of them were speaking english what is not that common in Argentina), breakfast was one the best we had in our two and a half weeks holidays. Would recommend it!

I had a lovely spacey, airy room with king size bed, and balcony overlooking street. Latter meant some noise but I had no trouble sleeping, and noise from outside was no worse than from other rooms which seems a hotel curse wherever I've stayed or how much I've paid. The advantages were the close proximity - just minutes - from...

We stayed there for 4 days, last week The rooms are clean, but very very small In case of a couple in the room, you will not have place to bring in 2 suitcases. 40% of the rooms are close to the road, and this road is very noisy day and night. Especially during late hours in the night when...

I recently visited Salta and was pleasently surprised by this hotel. ITs a great deal for the price and its right in the middle of all the activity! I must warn you that if you have a room that faces the street it will be noisy at night because you are in the center of all the night life!
