Located just a short five minute walk from the Plaza Principal, the Casa de Borgona provides clean, efficient accommodations suitable for a modest travel budget. The multi-lingual gay-friendly staff are extremely helpful and knowlegeable of the local community and surrounding mountains. The historic colonial-style decor and peaceful atmosphere, create an inviting and relaxing home for an enjoyable stay in Salta....

The ( chilean, forgot his name) guy at the frontdesk was super friendly and helpfull! The rooms are super big and very clean. The overall posada was quite charming but simple, place has good vibes. The main square, bars and restaurants are within walking distance!

The main guy working there was great. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Overall, we really liked this place and actually rebooked for our return to Salta. The breakfast is served in the back garden which is a nice touch indeed.

Warm welcome from all the staff without any exception, pleasant airy house, clear, high celling, building with lot of character and location is quite close to the central plaza. We had the room n°2 in front of the reception desk and were a bit scared with the noise but both staffs and guests were quiet and discrete. Shared bathrooms are...

Near to the central Plaza, this small hotel/hostel is exceptionally calm and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts outside in the sheltered patio, and being able to come back late at night (there's always a watchman).

Recommendable hotel with good service. People are very friendly and helpful. Laudry service was good, breakfast is the typical argentinian coffee and medialunas/tortillas. The room was very clean, as was the shared bathroom and all other common rooms. It was nice to sit in the garden using WiFi.

My husband and I stayed there while he was going to a meeting and most affordable places were booked, so we decided to stay here mainly because we were traveling on a budget. The location was very good, we walked around the city most of the time and had many restaurants nearby. The service was pretty good, people in the...

I have stayed at the Casa de Borgona for weeks on end before I moved to Salta - the owners are friends of my Boyfriend and he always recommends this place to women travellers as he feels secure here. Honestly and from talking to many people who stayed here - it is overpriced for a hostel. They think they are...
