After one year I came back to Salta for a few days and I could see the difference of the services provided now. The rooms and the place is more clean, they have a really good breakfast and a very friendly and attentive personal. I totally recommend this place for tourists who wants to stay in a Colonial type hostal

We had a double room on the front of the property which was light and a good size with its own (small) shower and loo. Room was clean but very tired. The balcony on the front was brilliant for people watching. The guy on reception was helpful and the wifi worked well, but mainly just in the reception area. Kitchen...

Stayed in the place for 3 nights and the experience was just OK. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was quite dated. the place doesn't really have a common room though the kitchen kind of serves this purposes though If you're looking for a place to meet other travelllers then keep looking. The breakfast (croissants, juice and coffee)...

NO RESPECT FOR YOU HERE.!!! We are a couple. We made a reservation of a double bedroom with balcony. Two days later, when we arrived, the room was occupied and the manager explained that he didn't understand what room we wanted and offered a twin bedroom. We kind of believed him and we stayed. After two days, we left for...

We stayed in this hostel for two nights, went on a roadtrip and came back for another night. During our roadtrip we could leave our backpacks in the deposit of the hostel. The first two nights we had a room in the front, which was quite spacious and had an old but clean bathroom. We made a reservation for a...

Arrived in the magical Salta, during my long journey in the northern Argentina in may 2013, I accidentally found this central structure. The entrance staircase is a bit 'steep but the hotel is convenient, hospitable, clean, bright and cheerful. Double room with private bathroom seems alcalde's room: in two person the price is reasonable. I recommend it highly, especially need...

Our general experiene: Location: Excellent - in the middle of the town Rooms: we have seen different rooms - all have poor interior, some bathrooms are very small (you shower more or less on the toilet) Stuff: very friendly, however not pro-active Internet: Free-WIFI, however no stable connection (depending of your location/room) Our specific experience: room was clean, bathroom was...

Simple rooms with much-needed fans. Alberto, the receptionist, spoke perfect English which was much appreciated and the location was in the heart of the city. The kitchen could have done with a few more utensils as, when we decided to eat in on the second night, we had to improvise a fair amount. Cable TV was a bonus but if...

Great location, efficient staff, good service. Slightly worn out but still good option. I missed A/C as it was really hot in Salta.

We made a reservation several weeks in advance and received confirmation from the hostel that they were “waiting for us”. On arrival in Salta, we made our way across town to the hostel by taxi only to be told by the Manager, yes sir, you do have a reservation but we do not have a room for you as the...
