This is a clean and friendly place in a nice town. The only problem I had was the wi-fi. I was trying to book my next stop but it kept timing out. It might help to move nearer the router which is in the breakfast room. Breakfast is Argentinian--rolls, beverage and dulce de le he.

During my trip to Argentina I wanted to see something of the deserts and mountains of the northwest and so traveled to the village of Humahuaca. I stayed at the Hostal La Sonada for the night and it was an extremely pleasant place to be. It's just a few blocks from the bus station, and not much further from the... More

Nice, clean, comfortable and pleasant place. Very kind hosts. Small quiet courtyard to relax in. Very good value for money and would recommend it! Breakfast included, basic but good. Parking in the street just in front. Stayed for 2 days and enjoyed it :)

Superbly decorated small rooms with bathroom, hot water and heating. Spotless clean, a nice patio, an excellent place to settle few days and discover the beautiful region. Convenient close to the centre of the village and very quiet during the evening and night. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Very recommendable place

We've found this place by chance and we stayed just one night but we really liked it. It is close to the centre of the beautiful Humahuaca. The hostal is clean, simple and equipped with typical local furniture. The room was clean and nice and the place is really peaceful. Breakfast was ok, not too much to choose, just cafe... More

This is a nice small place close to the bus terminal. Our room was small but nicely decorated and comfortable. Actually a good deal for what you pay. It's a short walk from the hotel in to town. And a short walk (or hike) in the other direction will bring you to peña blanco. Also nice. Only downside is the... More

We had a nice stay at hostel El Sonada, though nothing special really. Rooms were basic but clean and surrounded a patio which was nice. Breakfast was poor, even for Argentine standards. And we've paid less for similar or better accommodation. No real complaints though!

La Soñada is a very cute and clean hostal just 1,5 blocks away from the busstation of Humahuaca. Patricia, the landlady, is super sweet and helpful. You get pictures and detailed maps of trips you can do in the neighbourhood, you can ask her anything she'll do it rightaway and at night we asked for hot water and she stood... More

We had a newish double room with a great bathroom. The shower was not over the toilet which was a bonus. They allowed us to check in at 9.30 am . Rooms are set around a small but nice courtyard. The night was quiet and we slept well. Lovely staff and good coffee and orange juice for breakfast along with... More

This family run business offer simple and secure rooms located around an inner courtyard. The place is very cute and brightly decorated with a little cactus garden and some wooden tables.. The showers, although small, provide hot water and enough place for a toilet bag. The room was pretty small and the bed was on the hard side side of... More
