Had a wonderful stay..awesome service. .very helpful staff and boss..nice big rooms, air con and TV. .nice clean pool area..breakfast was filling....would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay..definitely bang for your buck here

+ very nice location in the middle of jungle with growing banana trees in front of your house and lovely "jungle" sounds :) + very good price (500 pesos per night in the May 2015 per double room) + clean and nice rooms (bathtub, hair dryer, airconditioning, comfortable beds) + very friendly staff and they speak English! + delicious breakfast...

Off the beaten track, you walk to the main road to pick up buses or access the main town. They'll call you a cab, if you like. When we asked a cab driver if he knew where to take us, he replied, "in the jungle". Expect bugs. You are surrounded. Buffet breakfast of mostly carbs and sugar. The staff is...

Nice bed a room, hot water and average dinner included, check out time is 10am which is too early, watch out for the transportation, their logistics are very li mited so did not commit to the pick up times messing our entire vacation agenda causing to miss on scheduled activiites...

We only paid $50/night for this hotel, so our expectations were pretty low but we were happy with this hotel. Our stay at Don Horacio was great. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a quiet place in the jungle- it's nice to walk outside in the morning into a jungle (and we even found a treefrog in our room).
