We have just returned from a 3 day stay at the Sheraton in Iguazu (within the National Park) and what a great experience it was. The hotel accommodation and service was truly 5 Star. We could not fault anything. We booked a "falls view" room on the 3rd (top) floor which was more expensive but absolutely essential if you are...

The great appeal of the Sheraton Iguazu Hotel is that it is the only hotel in the Iguazu National Park, within sight of the falls, which are only a short walk away. Other reviewers have noted that the hotel’s facilities are dated and badly in need of updating. This is true, but one cannot always expect an isolated hotel set...

I would definitely stay here because you are already in the park when it opens at 8am. We arrived in the afternoon and it was very crowded. People carrying prams and babies to see the most spectacular waterfalls. Going in at 8am there was no one there. Amazing. I had a falls view room. Absolutely worth it. To lie in...

Even though this hotel can use a fresh coat of paint on both the outside and inside, some new carpet in the rooms and the bathrooms updated, including a new shower (these were terrible), it is still worth every penny you spend to stay in the national park and have a “falls-view” room. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!!

I had the opportunity to stay at this great hotel. It's the only hotel inside the park so you need to pay just once the entrance to the park. Wonderful views of the Waterfalls. The rooms are very comfortable, big beds....

Granted, the hotel is old and slightly outdated but the rooms are comfortable with good beds and the balcony side has great views of the jungle and mist from the falls. The grounds are lovely and perfect for an evening or early morning stroll. The breakfast is very good and the patio restaurant was also good though service was so...

Pros:- It's in the Park so you get access to the Argentina side of the falls when Joe Public has gone home. I really enjoyed both meals I had there and as a vegetarian visiting South America I don't get to say to often. The staff all seemed friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequately sized and fair enough on...

My wife and I enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Sheraton Iguazu Resort in September. The views and sounds of the Falls from this property are wonderful. The hotel does charge a hefty fee for these views, but, if you can afford it, I would recommend spending the extra money for a Falls View room. Enjoying a beverage...

The Sheraton is the only hotel in the park. It is also the must stay place. Nothing beats stepping out on your balcony and seeing the falls and hearing the roar of the water. It is an easy walk from the hotel to the falls. You are never rushed for time as the hotel is always close by. Honestly, it...

This is the only hotel that is inside the Iguazu national park on the Argentinian side. The hotel itself has all the amenities you'd expect, and the service is phenomenal. The location is, obviously, prime, but I could have really done without and just taken a taxi into the park.
