As other reviewers note, the Hotel is ideally located right beside the trails to the truly spectacular falls on the Argentine side. Get a room on one of the top floors facing the falls and enjoy watching the morning sun change the colours of the mist and spill. Watch what you leave on the balcony, however. The local monkeys spring... More

We stayed two nights as part of a post-Antarctica cruise sponsored by Gohagan Travel for several unversity alumni groups. The hotel is located in the Parque Nacional Iguazu and walking distance to the upper and lower Falls trails. The views of the Iguazu Falls National Park were superb. The accomodations were modern, clean, and well maintained. The restaurant and bar... More

This is a whistlestop for American tour operators, so if you have a problem with being inundated by noisey American tourists then this iss not the place for you; which is a shame, because they choose it for the location as should you. The train station and the start of both the "upper" and "lower" trails are only a 10... More

If you go to Iguazu Falls, then you have to stay in this hotel. They are located inside the National Park on the Argentina side, and you are just at a walking distance of the falls. There is also a small train passing near by to take you to the end of the path, so you can walk a little... More

We booked our stay in the Sheraton last minute because of its location and the logistics of our trip. I am very glad we did stay here because we were able to take our time to see the falls and do our boat tour- we did not have to rush and fit it all into one day, especially since our... More

We stayed here for three nights and the location was great. If youbare visiting the Falls from the Argentinian side then this is a great place to stay. Price wise NZ$630 per night for a Falls view room. Pretty expensive really for a room. View was great and getting around was a lot easier as we were staying in the... More

This was my third stay at the Sheraton Igauzu and the last time I was hesitant to return. They have refurbished the hotel and quest rooms and everything is top notch. The rooms feel very clean with lovely marble floors, the beds are very comfortable and the linens we beautiful, white and crisp. We opted to go to the hotel... More

The view from the lobby as you walk in knocks your socks off - a fantastic view of the falls and also from your room if you choose a falls view. All the trails through the park and to the viewpoints start from here so there really is nowhere else to stay. Only downside is that you have to eat... More

It's simple -- this hotel has an incredible location and makes any visit to the falls infinitely more enjoyable for that reason alone. It doesn't matter than there were cobwebs on the balcony furniture; it doesn't matter that the air conditioning wasn't working because they don't have enough generator power, despite their charging $400/night (the local power company is not... This hotel could use an upgrade but for the proximity to the park, it's a good place to stay. We enjoyed two nights at the Sheraton during our honeymoon. It was clean and accessible. We enjoyed spending the afternoon at the pool after visiting the park. The hotel is a taxi ride from town so we decided to stay at... More
