Enough people have reviewed the Plaza Italia that I cannot add anything knew. It is truly a wonderful B and B in a great location in a enchanting city. However the wine tour that is hosted by Javier Inzaurraga is the real gem of the Plaza Italia experience. He is unusually knowledgable about wines and wineries, and communicates in an...

I stayed at the B&B Plaza Italia last week. My assessment is that it was perfectly acceptable, but not nearly as nice as the Casa Lila, where I had stayed a few nights previously. It felt to me more like a business than really staying in someone's home.

Most B&B's we've been to have been run more like businesses. At the B&B Plaza Italia, we felt like we were guests in a person's home. The owners actually lived in the building instead of just managing it. The B&B is very inviting and comfortable. You couldn't ask for better hosts as well. They treated us like friends and accommodated...

We stayed at B&B Plaza Italia twice, on our way to, and then on the way back from, another town. The first time we stayed five nights and we were in a large room at the back of the B&B that was blissfully quiet. The second time we were there for only one night, and this time our room was...

We are just finishing a 3 day stay in this delightful B&B. The location and facilities are superb and the owner/hostess has arranged a great trip to the mountains to view Cerro Aconcagua, and a custom wine tour. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable and the light continental breakfast is just that, including fresh squeezed orange juice. WiFi is...

Plaza Italia is a fantastic place to stay. It is a beautiful house that has been converted into a delightful B&B by the owner, Mercedes, who is one of the most lovely people you could ever meet. Every stage of my stay there was excellent. When making the reservation, my enquiries were answered quickly and thoroughly. Upon arrival, I was...

After all of the great reviews, I was very disappointed. Pros: The wine tour was fantastic and well worth the cost, the rooms are a decent size, and the staff all speak English. Cons: The owners smoke in the house/back patio, and you can smell it throughout the whole house. It's not as charming as many B&Bs are - the...

We liked the sound of the place from the website, but the reality surpassed expectations, it gives the feel of being at home, and the attention is very good. Our plane was 3 hours late, and the owner waited for us with a smile, in spite of being just after midnight. Breakfast is very good, fresh orange juice and home...
