We stayed here for 6 nights in 2014. We had lived in Mendoza for a number of years, so did not know what to expect from hotels upon returning for a visit. The location in the center was helpful, and near the other main big hotels. The rooms are a bit out-dated, but clean and more than sufficient. The breakfast...

Price paid too high comparing it with the quality of service and facilities. 1) Bath too small, very difficult to get a shower and uncomfortable. 2) Lighting too poor and basic. 3) Not easy to sleep if you get a room facing to the street because of the noisy cars. 4) Good breakfast.

Lobby, staff ,breakfast(on a patio),and location good, but bedrooms terrible. Small ,badly scuffed, air co sometimes,TV from 50 s,if remote worked, and bathroom, with cracked sink, leaky tap,and towels the size of nappies. Have stayed in 3 star in mendoza before, but full this time, and that was excellent, and in this case was assured by staff that ours was one of better bedrooms! Many others to choose from,so...

The Hotel is old and feels cheap in every corner. I was there for only one night because of a flight cancellation. The bed was so tight i can barely turn over, and a I an avergae 1.75m/74kg person. Bathroom was kind of faded, clean, but not nice. The room door has an akward system for lock, using an old...

Simple place, but very well located. The staff is very friendly. There are noises outside, but the room is ok if you are interested in walking around the city. Don't accept to stay in the mountains, in Gran Hotel Uspallata. It's totally different. Prefer to stay in the city.

We chose the hotel because it appeared to be close to downtown attractions. The location was indeed within walking distance of many shopping, entertainment and cultural options. The hotel has a sunny little courtyard where guests can lounge. The room was simple and clean with no alarm clock and an older TV. The street noise in the second-floor room was...

This hotel has been renamed and is now called the Puerta del Sol. Although this hotel is highly recommended in the first edition of "Moon Argentina," I had a real bad experience. The hotel is on a very noisy peatonal (pedestrian walkway). I got stuck on a Friday night on the second floor, next to an elevator, with a bed...
